"Deal" of the Day: Sonic for $18.99

Do you like hurting yourself? Want to play a PS3 game which denies you that very urge? You can nab the nigh-unplayable Sonic the Hedgehog for about $18.99 right now on Amazon. Why would you? Maybe you're a Sega fanatic -- we sort of are. Maybe you need to have every Sonic title ever made. Maybe you need to round out your PS3 library with a horrible game or two. Whatever your motive, we're alerting you to a good deal on a game that may or may not suit your fancy. Enjoy!

You know, I looked at my PS3 games shelf and said to myself "you need more stinkers in your collection". I mean I bought Lair but even that is not enough when surrounded by my other games like Uncharted and Folklore. Thanks PS3fanboy... I think.

Or, alternately, you could just go and play Ratchet and Clank again and not waste twenty bucks. And if you haven't gotten Ratchet and Clank, you could get it. Yes, it costs more. Yes, it's also worth a lot more.

This is my favorite PS3 game.

Otherwise I also like Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted, but not as much as Sonic.

Even if this was free it wouldn't be a deal. Sonic used to be an amazing series, but these days its near complete garbage.

save for the glitches, the game isn't actually that bad. Its just a better looking Sonic Adventure. With glitches. Lots of glitches.

This is actually not as bad a game as everybody makes it out to be. I beat, and enjoyed it, on the 360. True it's not the revolutionary Sonic that was promised to us, but it's still an entertaining 3-D Sonic title. Think of it as Sonic Adventure 3, except hard as hell and with a bunch of glitches.
