PixelJunk Monsters seems to be a nicely designed little Tower Defense style game, with a much more pleasing aesthetic than PixelJunk Racers had (and, we're hoping, much less annoying voices). The kicker? It works via Remote Play. So if you've just woken up and are checking PS3 Fanboy on your phone or via some other wireless device (as we're sure most of you are!), you won't even need to get out of bed to try it.

How are you getting stuff from another PSN store than your continent's one?

It's easy, just setup another user on your PS3 and then go through the motions of filling in email addresses etc. But use a Japanese, US, UK etc address. The Japanese account is a bit of a pain to setup (for obvious language reasons) but it's worth having. I have UK, US and Japanese accounts, between these three you'll be able to get the best demos and videos.

Oh, it's easy, it only involves violating the Terms of Service of PSN.

I believe the full game (in english) has been available on the Hong Kong site for a couple of weeks. I have certainly played it for that long maybe more. It is actually quite hard for an old fart like me! :-)

The PixelJunk games art design is cut above yet Racers was a snorefest when it came to gameplay. I hope this one fares better, but something tells me they have better artists than designers working for them. But, who knows!

last i checked remote play didn't work with conventional phones or just any wireless device. i was under the impression it worked with the psp alone.

guys he didnt mean remote play on any device he was sayign if you had been woken up by a device,. you know cell phone alarm, cell phone ringing something like that,. LOL learn to read :P

Played the demo, this game is not just Desktop Tower Desfense. There are Boss monsters, upgrading through dancing and coin collection. It looks great on my HDTV.The coin collection gives you something to do while the creeps are marching towards your base.

I downloaded the demo this morning and tried it out. Seems fun so far. I'll probably wind up picking this up just for something to do when I'm bored and want something quick and simple to play.

This Demo is actually pretty good I just started playing it,. it's no competition for Level 5 or SqaureEnix by any means but damn it might hold me over for a while,. this really is a nice lil game,. and it really does look awesome on a big HDTV sounds get in 5.1 Dolby Digital too ,. has good rumble support as well.

My guess is that it will be the same as or very similar to the price of PixelJunk Racers. I don't think it will be over $10, or at least, I'm hoping it's not over $10, because I do want to buy this.

downloading the demo from JPN PSN and it shows it's Japanese name but after i installed it. it was all in English even the title
