American PSN updates for January 24th

This week's updated is jam packed with goodness and there should be something for everyone. Here's the full release list:

We'll save you some counting; there are two demos, two full games and seven game add-ons. As a result, this may in fact be the best update we've seen yet. PixelJunk Monsters is a great little game and we should have a review up for you soon. In the meantime, if you want to try it out for yourself without paying, grab the demo off the Japanese PSN Store. Don't be afraid, it's in English.

Honestly, who would buy a Stranglehold map pack. At $15? You'd be hard-pressed to find someone to buy it for, uh, free.

In regards to the DMC4 demo: Curse you, work. Why am I at you instead of at home watching a progress bar click across a screen? DMC is one of my favorite series.

...well, aside from needing money to live. Can't play games without paying the bills.

I just want to say that Folklore has been really impressive with their offer of DLC, especially for a non-AAA title.

On a side note, the worst Rock Band week of all time. No variety, just Oasis, which in my opinion, sucks.

It should be noted, 7.99 for Pixel junk is listed as limited time only. Anyone know how long, and the normal price?
Im glad i got it from japan, that sucks you can't demo here.
Anyone know if we log on UK store can we get the free folklore winner there? or how that works?

DMC4 is awesome i D/L and played it this morning from the JAPAN store was english anyway,. it's great,. Now if I could only beat the Boss would be nice LOL

Hey Tim to beat the boss rush him, use that Devil Grab thing to pull yourself up to his head then smack him around a few times with your sword. Repeat until he falls. Then hit him a few more times and then RUN. Repeat whole thing again.

But besides that Why haven't I played this game before?

Though I still don't understand where SONY gets off overcharging Canadian PSN users with these prices higher then US PSN users when the CND $ is worth more ,. if it were the other way around all hell would break lose. even if it is only $1 extra for Monsters it's still an unnecessary overcharge

PJM is amazing! I just dl it, failed a few levels, got the hang of it. And I am hooked :)! Co-op is a challenge as well. I duno much about the rest of the stuff... but I might gust have to try out the DMC4 demo. Pretty good week!

i wasn't sold on PJM, so i decided to finally get the J PSN for the demo. I did end up buying PJM :), but i was wondering about something else on the JPSN: there's a cat-like game which i kinda wanted to play, but couldn't understand anything but PLAYSTATION 3. Anyone know what it is??

Folks Soul is the japanese version of Folklore. same demo as the American PSN version.

The cat-like game is kinda like a dumbed down version of Animal Crossing (the only was i could think of to describe it). it doesnt really have a point to it, you just sorta explore, relax, eat stuff, etc. i didnt keep it for long.
