Patience is for wimps - DMC4 demo available now on Japanese Store

We know only too well just how impatient you guys can be, which is why we're letting you know that you don't have to wait any longer. The Devil May Cry 4 demo is available right now on the Japanese PSN Store and, yes, it's in English. The American PSN Store will be updated later today with the demo, but Europeans will have to wait until next week to get their hands on that. That is, of course, unless you go ahead and load up your Japanese or American PSN accounts and get it today.

Expect plenty more coverage of the game to come in the next couple of weeks, along with plenty of emails to SCEE asking why Europe has to wait for a demo again. In the meantime, chill out with Nero and while away the hours wielding a ridiculously large sword against impossible creatures.

I only use my american PSN, seems as Sony has already given up on us Europeans.

One thing I always wanted to say, as i spend time on other gamingforums as well. ps3faboy.com is without doubt the nicest of them, it has by far the most polite "tone" of them all.
I look at PS3 gamers as 20-30 male, dressed in nice clothing and with nice attitude.
The attitude found at 360-forums can best be described as immature, thus I look at them as 13-17 year olds.
Wii is for everyone, but I the general impression I get is that they are in general tolerant and polite.

Sorry for OT'ing, I just had to get it out of my system:-) And for the record, this was a huge generalization and there are MANY expetions om all sides, this was just MY general impression.

ps3fanboy ftw. it's my favorite blog as well. updated very frequently and even on the weekends.

pretty excited about this. i actually just found out how to get on the japanese store and supposedly there is a gt5 prologue demo there that i'll be getting today, along with DMC and pixeljunk monsters! woohoo

The demo is pretty cool, Nero controls really well. Only things that worry me are the relative ease of the game (it's the start, so I guess that's to be expected) and Nero's lack of an original personality. Capcom really are shit at making characters. In three iterations they couldn't decide whether to make Dante kick ass arrogant or the dark broody type. And now they've just made Nero exactly like Dante from DMC1. They should just hire character creators from somewhere else.

I've pretty much given up on PSN >_> I have a 20mb connection and a decent wireless router and yet the PS3 will not connect forcing me to go all thru the network set up again each time I turn the console on. When I get to downloading a demo it shoots to 11mb and then downloads so slow... too slow. My mac book placed in the same room around the same area picks up the connection full speed >_> and even the 360s doing better which is a surprise, even tho its on wire in my bedroom, it used to be a heck of a lot slower then the wireless PS3 when it came to download stuff >_

mine has been plug n play with every router i've had since getting my PS3 never a setting to change,. both wired and Wireless,. minus adding the security Key the first time only

I just hope when this hits our shores we can change the language to Japanese with English subtitles.

I'm so tired of hearing the guy who plays Vash the Stampede voice act for the main character in every anime and videogame. It's getting really old, really fast. It'd be like having the same actor play the same role in every movie ever. Very boring, very dull.
