Lost: Via Domus gameplay trailer lacks ... music?
Who doesn't love Lost? Well, after season 2, a lot of people turned away from the show. Season 3, after about the midway point, really picked up some steam and began to draw back some of the love felt in the first season of the show. Why does that matter? The Lost video game, Lost: Via Domus, takes place across the first three seasons of the show. This trailer shows basically what you've seen time and again in the show, reproduced in rather unfortunate quality. We're not hating -- for fans of the show this will probably prove a worthwhile rent, but for those expecting to get floored, you should look elsewhere. This is a TV show game, after all.

IMHO, a game without music is totally worthless..

Bit of an odd trailer, wasn't it? Doesn't make me the least bit interested in the game...

Yeah, I don't get it. Lost never appealed to me. Way too much cliff hangers and vapid flashbacks whose point is reveal 1.5 seasons later. Like most JJ Abrams shows, high concept, poor follow through. I would probably watch if Jennifer Garner joined the cast, but would stop if they started looking for Rembaldi devices.

It's not even the real actors doing the voices, well for the main characters. Only Ben, Mikhail, Sun, Desmond, Claire and Tom have the actual actor voices.

After season 2? Try after about 4 episodes into season 1, when it became clear that the plot wasn't actually going anywhere and they were just gonna keep throwing in a load of pointless crap to try and keep you entertained.
Games based on TV shows = phail.

I love the show... but don't think I'll get the game. I'm better of just reading on the Internet if it shines any light on the show (Not gonna happen).

Hmmm, Spike Spegal (sp) (from Cowboy Bebop) does the voice of Matthew Fox, and the "laptop" sounds like a supermarket checkout scanner.

you guys realise this isnt a REAL trailer?? its just footage peiced together of all the videos of the game so far made by some youtuber guy... ubisoft didnt release this trailer and all the videos found in this video are in other smaller clips of the game. the REAL trailer found on the website DOES have music, and this game has had 60 minutes of music specially composed for the game, as well as the music from the show.
Emmett2 @ Feb 24th 2008 6:16AM
James is right this isnt the real trailer it is just clips put together.
There is a real trailer though and there is music on the real trailer and makes the game look way better than they are showing here
