Lost Planet demo hitting the US PSN Store today

In keeping with two weeks ago, Capcom will be placing a multiplayer demo for the upcoming Xbox 360 port Lost Planet on the US PSN Store the same day it arrived in Japan. As with the DMC4 demo two weeks ago, Europe has missed out on the demo and so will probably get it next week - though no doubt most of you will be picking it up from the US Store today anyway.

The US Store update isn't up yet, but we'll let you know what's available as soon as we find out. If you don't want to wait until then, you can go ahead and grab it from the Japanese Store. It looks like the servers are worldwide, meaning the version you have won't restrict who you play against. Read our complete impressions here.

umm a xbroke360 port to ps3 will download it and see if its even worth a rent..BTW, bought Devil may cry 4 good stuff.

Can anyone actually get the Lost Planet demo working?? I can't connect with it. Everytime I try to join a match it says room Full and it sits on the screen doing nothing when I create one.

I'm having the same issue, although I was able to host my own game and people could join that.

I played the Japanese demo last night, without any problems at all. Now that it's up in NA, I can't connect to anyone. Seems like connecting to people halfway across the globe would be more complicated than people in one's own country, but I'm wrong often.

Okay, same problem now... I'm going to download the Japanese Demo again and see if it's the servers fucking up or if they actually broke the NA download...

I finally managed to join a match, and I guess that it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but it certainly isn't anything special compared to the 360 version.

Yeah I can't connect to anyone either. I either get room is full or Connection failed. This is why I always skip multiplayer demos but PS3Fanboy said it was worth it...

I couldn't connect.....its gone.....Capcom missed the mark even more than I thought was possible for this junker of a game.

I'm Having issues too! I really wanted to check this one out... I ended up deleting the damn thing and I'm going to wait until they fix it before I download it again..... that IF they fix it.

Does anyone have any tips as to how to connect????

Capcom pisses on PS3 again. lol! If the demo has this much trouble do you think the full game won't? i tried last night for about 30 min trying get a game. I kept getting the same two games that would say 1/8 or 7/8 and when I click them it would say connection failed or game is full.
