It's time to look at some high-res screenshots of
Silent Hill V. Dim your lights, put on that
Silent Hill 3 soundtrack that came with the game (you know you have it, avid
SH fans!), and click on over to
SilentHill5.net to check them out. You'll see some familiar monsters with new design twists, some areas we've not seen yet, and some enemies we are glad have finally been revealed. Don't worry kids, there's nothing
too grotesque that would get you in trouble for looking at. That is, if parents are keeping tabs on that sort of thing. Enjoy!

They don't look very good imo. I hope the changes to the gameplay will make it better. So far, Resident evil 5 and Alone in the dark 5 are looking much better than this.

Can anybody say "American Developer?"
oh, and btw, those screens are from the 360 version. PS3 version is still up in the air as The Collective hasn't even touched their PS3 kit yet.

I used to love Silent Hill, but that Origins fanfic was terrible, and from the video clips I've seen, this is going to be a lot worse.

The seemingly low res texture for his jacket was particularly poor. Maybe the textures hadn't loaded completely.
Silent Hill was excellent before, it just seems like it stagnated. Hopefully they will polish and refresh this iteration up, no miracle expected, but mediocrity will not do.
The intro to SH3 made that soundtrack worth listening to.

I don't know what it is about this game: In some respects it looks like a great good progression from 'The Room', which I didn't like at all, but in others it seems more like a backward step.
I can't quite put my finger on what it is that makes me think this - maybe they just made some bad choices with the demo footage they have chosen, but it doesn't seem as good as it should be somehow. Anyone know what I mean? I mean, look at Alone in the Dark and Res Evil 5 by comparison.
It almost looks like it was creating for XBox 1 / PS2, shelved for some reason, and has now been brought back on the Next Gen systems instead... I know it wasn't, but that's what it looks like to me...
Anyway, I think it could most definitely look better than it seems to right now. A game carrying the Silent Hill name should really be leading the way, not trailing alone behind and looking like old tech.

i was wondering if some could email me at vanness_josh@yahoo.com and tell me how to put a operating system on my playstation 3. and if it is worth it and if it is harder than hell to do it.
