Rumour: Overlord coming to PS3?

Dutch site PS3 Party is reporting that Overlord, originally only for the Xbox 360 and PC, might be heading for the PS3. With no official announcement, this remains to be a complete rumour for now. We contacted Codemasters who gave us the following, very vague, statement: "After the release of the Overlord: Raising Hell expansion pack on Xbox Live Marketplace last week, there's been a definite increase in interest surrounding the dark adventures of the minion master. However, although we won't comment on rumour and speculation, I can certainly confirm that you haven't seen the last of the Overlord just yet."

So we haven't seen the last of the Overlord. But wait, we haven't seen the Overlord at all, yet. We're not going to read too much into it, but at least there was no outright denial. Overlord, or some form of a sequel, would be really nice to see on the PS3.

I'd love to see this game on PS3. I have a 360 but am loathe to play on it due to the horrible noise level of that console, and I'm no longer buying games for it. It's PS3 (and Wii, lol) all the way from now on for me.

well, it can join lost planet in crap 360 games that get turned into crap ps3 games.

Well if it's fun to play i'd pick it up off eBay or something for a good price. Fable was a s hitty game but it was still fun for a while, maybe this is similar in that respect?

If I saw it for under 20 bucks, and there was nothing else worth playing.. then maybe, yeah sure. But between me PS3 and the 360 there be plenty of good games coming out to consume my time.

Besides, with CIVILIZATION coming out, I'll always have some nation to grind under my despotic heel if I need a game to play.

Overlord certainly isn't crap. Plus, it'd be great if they gave us some additional content to make it worth the purchase.

I'm fucking sick of people porting old ass lame games to the PS3 almost a year after they've come out on 360. I rented this game on the 360 back when it first came out, and it was horrible. There's nothing fun about this game at all, i would rather play through Turok than to play Overlord. This is bullshit, the 360 gets Devil May Cry, Grand Theft Auto 4 and Resident Evil 5, and the PS3 gets Lost Planet and Overlord.
