Why David Jaffe played hookie from GDC
With great power comes great responsibility and David Jaffe took this wise saying from who we can only assume was a prophet of super power (nobody knows for sure who uttered such legend ... we kid, we kid) and tossed it out the window. Not really. He was slated to give a speech at GDC, but he backed out for reasons clarified in this video from his blog. He was sick and he's bummed about that, so we'll forgive him. Especially since he said he's getting some work done. And especially because we can understand what he means by having a growing play pile. We're still working through our PS2 games.
