I guess I do take issue with calling anything with "Jet Moto" in the title a PS1 classic I guess. More like a PS1 offering for PS3/PSP. Where have all the triple A PS1 titles gone to?

They went to the same place that all the amazing non 1st party titles for the Wii's virtual console went. Down the long hard road of licensing issues.

That's kinda funny... I was just thinking how excited I was to get home and download the new RB songs, the Pain add-ons, and the demo for Pixel Junk Monsters. I know I should probably just buy PJM, but I'm afraid I may not like that style of game. Anybody know how much the Pain add-ons are yet?

Hmmm...I may pick up Jet Moto 3. It got an 8.6 on IGN back in the day, which was a Wednesday.

OMFG Yay! They have now officially run out of Jet Moto's to put on the PlayStation Store. Now we'll actually get some actual games! How many more Crash Bandicoots until those are done too? The sooner they are done, the sooner that Final Fantasy VII, VIII, or IX get on there. Heck, I'd settle for Wild Arms 2. Or Vagrant Story, or any other RPG out of the millions the PSone had.

Do they have so few developers or what? Don't they realize if they had more to sell we might buy more? I know I've been waiting for the service to ramp up. For some reason I thought with GDC and all today might give us something special....too bad for us.

Do you realize how much it has sucked to be a metal fan and want to play something that isn't indie or basically radio pop? The past three months, I've bought 2 packs, and 5 separate songs and that is it.
I understand that Harmonix is owned by MTV now and they do have a game to push so they naturally have to place more popular songs in this game, but the game itself has three metal songs, Sabbath, Maiden, and Metallica. So lay off of March.
At The Gates, The Haunted, Nine Inch Nails (Perfect Drug is going to be insanity, as well as March Of The Pigs), and More Maiden are perfectly welcome. What you feel about March is what I have felt for every month after this game has come out.
Only in defense of march, once again, I understand that metal is a niche genre, so let us enjoy it.

Outside of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The New Pornographers there is very little indie in Rock Band. Most songs are either mainstream alternative (Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age), or pop rock. Oh, and the general problem with putting metal in Rock band is that only a small percentage of the population likes it, so there wouldn't be much money to be made in DLC.

In light of all the GDC news going down and the rather plentiful set of offerings on XBL right now, I would have to agree with some of those above and say that this is a rather pitiful offering. I look forward to the PSN updates every Thursday, but recently, they've had NOTHING worth mentioning, let alone paying for.

The PAIN! update is free.I am not sure about the character. Jet Moto is just a bad idea. Japan has many PS1 games on their PSN that we could be playing. Silent Bomber,Xi, Alundra. etc. These games have been out in the US before.I do not understand.

i finally added some money to my psn (wallet) and sat there for 20 mins going through what i might like to buy........ but couldnt come up with anything. i have mortal kombat 2 on my midway classics psp umd. and everything else pretty much blows. i will try pjmonster but iam not holding my breath.

Look at all the complainers! It's so funny to watch people bitch and moan about content on a free service. They act like they don't even remember the days of the PS2, where there was virtually no such thing as DLC. Now, everyone throws a childish tantrum if there's ever a single week that doesn't have every single thing he or she wished for.
I, for one, am content in the knowing that Sony prefers quality over quantity. Give 'em a break, guys. Sheesh.

PixleJunk Monsters Is Playable On Your PSP via Remote Access. That was a surpirse for me. I try every demo I DL just in case :-).

Everyone who sticks up for Sony, this is what you get. Aside from Rockband, and the PJM demo that should have gotten released on the same day as the game, i really wish they would start doing that. The releases are crap, and who needs movie trailers.

ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS?!!? Are you expecting a see a brand new ps1/psn game every week? Why do you guys whine so much. As was already said, Sony is making quality over quantity, so they aren't rushing shit out the door to please you people. Besides, they are at GDC, and i'm pretty sure that's more important. To people who can't find anything to buy, here's a list. Maybe you can take ur head of ur a** and try them:
Everyday Shooter
SSHD
PJM (NOT a kiddie game, so stop whining, it's actually very good and takes hours to complete due to its difficulty)
and if i'm not pushing my luck (after all, it's $10) Gripshift.
Point: Get over yourselves. Sony will release games when they're ready. WHEN THEY'RE READY. Y'hear that Microsoft?
