Rumor: Phil Harrison to join Atari

According to sources at GI.biz, the former head of Sony Worldwide Studios, Phil Harrison, will leave the company at the end of the week to join Atari. A puzzling acquisition, if true. Atari hasn't been known for its success in the industry, and many see it as a sinking ship. Of course, the same could've been said about the PlayStation brand just a year ago. Since then, under Harrison's leadership, the company has seen a dramatic turnaround in sales and image.

Perhaps Harrison can work his magic on Atari as well? Stay tuned for the latest developments.

Would you guys vote people down that say 1st to a post question. It's just stupid. And Phil would be a good fit at Atari, since they need someone like him to turn them around.

ummm bluebreaker i dont know where uve been but the majority of nintendos executives resigned too. some before the relocation when but there was countless announcements of nintendo bosses leaving

According to the Whois information the owner of the domain is "Colorize design group sweden". It sounds like someone Sony would hire since they probably don't have an in-house art department to do it for them. I wouldn't say it's real, though, I wouldn't say it's fake either. Nice catch.
