67 songs headed for the Singstore on March 7th

It's about time. Finally, the first worthwhile Singstar Singstore update is on its way. On March 7th the Singstore will be updated with 67 new songs, almost doubling the amount of content that's available today. It's true that a lot of songs included in this update are from previous Singstar iterations on the PS2, but if these updates (which should be occurring twice monthly, now) keep looking similar to this, we'll be impressed.

The song list is really rather good, actually. We're quite looking forward to grabbing some ourselves. Particularly, some Bowie, The Darkness, Feeder and Lordi. To see the full list of songs due to be up on the Singstore on the 7th or March, check past the jump.

The last confirmed release date was May 2008. Do you have a source for the Q3 delay?

Nice update. Once the US release occurs, I assume the EU content will be open to the US owners and vice versa, therefore doubling the content....

What puzzles me is why it takes so long for certain games to make it across the atlantic. Its not like theres a huge language barrier. The amount of people that know English in the EU is almost embarrassing compared to how many foreign languages the British know.
