The Getaway 3 since E3 2006 almost two years ago. Two years without news usually means the project has been cancelled. Thankfully, that's not the case this time as an
interview with the game's writer, Katie Ellwood, has been published today on the British website Den Of Geek. In it Ellwood confirms that not only is
The Getaway 3 still in production, but there's a possibility of a movie too.
"
We are certainly talking to production houses about a movie for the third game in the Getaway series. The story and game script for this one is very exciting, as is the writer we have on board." says Ellwood. "I'm afraid I can't give any further information, other than to say: watch this space." Watch this space? We certainly will be.

ok every1 ill give u some secert info the getaway3 will have online death matches its been reported by PSM3 MGAZINE a UK MAG they asked one of the developers about the game in the streets and he said it will have online play he asked the magazine to keep this secert hope i helped

this game is gonna be so awesome! i hope its not all hype and it dont SUCK! it be nice if they came out with a movie long as its not like resident evil or hitman! im so getting this game when it comes out even tho i didnt play the first 2!

A bit of GTA4 and a bit of 'The Business' movie, a recipe for success, I'm hyped for this game, if they do it right, this will be second on my list of top games amongst GTA4.
I know other previous titles before it flopped, so lets keep fingers crossed this one pulls it off.

as long as it works, the other games just didn't. I would love to see them look at gta's release and at least match some of the freedom.
