More Armored Core: for Answer screens show off colossal-sized enemies

So far, for Answer hasn't been announced outside Japan; however, we're keeping our fingers crossed for that nice little press release to arrive and tell us otherwise. This game has got us excited since January; check out this trailer we posted to see why. Or better yet, if you have a Japanese PSN account you can download the full HD version for yourself and be awed.

First game dissapointed me. This one will no doubt do the same.
Each to their own though.

I have to admit AC4 wasn't the greatest AC game thus far but it was fun once you got around the learning curve IMO.

Most people there have already imported a copy of the game and have given the game great reviews quoting its upgraded functionality, new garage mechanics, graphics and fun factor.

Armored Core have been perennially disappointing games...i typically buy them a year after release for about 20 dollars. I enjoy them, but they have the potential to be so much better than they are

Huh, a mecha Shadow of the Colossus. I guess it could tide me over until the real thing!

Unless they change the customization method back to the way it used to be I will never buy an armored core game again. I don't know what the hell they were thinking with the spec sheets and blueprints.

to be honest im not buying ac game ever, a word of advice if your ify about the game dont buy it, the reason for it is ac 4 missions was hard too many enemies and distractions, the game laged at places i had to buy new parts avery mission, it confusing, really they should just have health/armor point, attack point, defence/sheild points, and weight, all this balanceing should be for a spaceship game cause it would be better of if they change the whole game using the same game engine my space games.
good points about the game is, grafic are brill, muitiplayer is ok but you need a big telly splitscreen with ac 4 was hard to see.
If they need to make a whole game base on areana something like that
anyone want the eu ac 4, £10, game only been use 5 times

ash:
AC: Nine breaker on PS2 was arena based, but you literally had to change your entire AC setup based on the enemy, in AC 4, if you work out what shits on whats face in a situation, then you're laughing, plus dash boost and ECM makes most enemy attacks avoidable. Nevar stop boostin'. In my opinion 4 is one of the easier AC games. The only thing that disappointed me about it was the lack of parts over earlier games.
I spose AC will appeal to people who spend ages on Gran Turismo on vehicle setup. If you dont 'get' it, you wont like it based purely on its merits as a game.
I've always loved AC, mainly because it gives you the choice of building a mech that looks at least plausible, rather than some poncey Gundam style giant metal ballerina that looks like a MEGAZORD!"!$$!!!! except even more like a Cosplayer.
I for one am filling my trousers over this new one.

^ Edd is right, AC4 was easier than the previous AC games. I also love AC. I like being able to customize many aspects of my mecha. I can S rank all missions. It's a really fun game. Sega screwed US version over--- maybe because the fan base isn't big enough to bother. I'm going to import AC4A 3/19 ^_^.
genobeee @ Mar 19th 2008 7:35AM
AC4 didnt feel easier at all. i hated it.
AND yes im importing it too. no way i am buyin another EU version, even though that will screw up the EU/US market even more but i dont care they should have done it right in the first place and give up REg updates.

Armored Core 4 wasn't the best Armored Core from the series but I can tell you it's still a lot of fun once you get past its initial learning curve which has been dumb down significantly from previous titles.
Give it a shot, it's a good game and the community around it are a bunch of great people.
