Yahtzee invents an awesome storyline for Burnout Paradise

Today's Zero Punctuation video is arguably the funniest yet. Yahtzee takes on Burnout Paradise and, while it isn't really clear whether he actually likes it or not, you won't care because of all the laughing you'll be doing. In reviewing Burnout Paradise Yahtzee manages to extract a storyline from the game that doesn't exist, but really, really should. The very NSFW video can be seen above and, as usual, we agree with practically everything the man says. Enjoy!

I don't think he was fair at all in his review and Burnout Paradise or the Burnout series itself is not like any other racer and it's not supposed to be so.....although I don't agree with his review at all, not one bit....it was a little funny....not as funny as you guys made it to be, but it was funny.

Yahtzee is the best games reviewer in history because he's the only one honest enough about games not to become a nerdy dorky reject fanboy like every other games reviewer out there who reaches orgasm like the pissant no-life that he is at the mention of the word 'xbox' 'halo' 'gears' or 'bioshock'. And yes I do agree with every last bit of that review, and if you don't like it (because you're a loser fanboy who enjoys the crappy mediocre burntout serious made for non-racers whith no driving skill who sit around jittering and foaming at the mouth) then go screw.

The only one I couldn't care to agree with (nevertheless still SO funny) because of my inner fanboy-ism was his Uncharted review, cuz he totally wrecked that game soooo hard lol.

Yeah, I agree. I liked this review better than the one for Uncharted. Sorry if I'm in the minority here (no pun intended), but I never really picked up on any of the racial overtones that he seemed to think were blatantly obvious.

That just underscores how great Uncharted was, when all Yahtzee could say about it was the fact that everyone you fought wasn't white. That's a small nit to pick.

The review was funny....but wasn't as funny as the guys here made it seem. I was expecting to be "rolling on the floor laughing." Okay, just kidding about that but I thought it really was going to be THAT funny. It wasn't, but still funny.

I still don't agree with what he said about the game....I don't have to agree ya know!

Sain, I think you're not agreeing because you don't want to agree. You like Burnout Paradise, and this "review" just blatantly put out the truth behind the insanity of some of the gameplay mechanics in a way that make you feel like a loser for liking the game. But maybe not. I like the game, I bought it on Day-one, put many-many-many hours into it, got 100%, and completely agree with this guy's review.
