Fireball @ Mar 13th 2008 10:09AM
I'm sick of getting di*ked over every Thursday. Where can we complain about this crap, do they even read the PS Forums??
Why don't they tag UK in with USA so at least we get our games earlier instead of having to wait for them to convert it into 30+ languages. As for PAIN, seriously, is it that hard to translate "wweeeeeeeee.....ouch!" into non english language?? LOL
sean @ Mar 13th 2008 9:16AM
come on why dont u like your elefunk trailer lol. im guessin you guys are gettin that game next week.but im probably wrong
Nick C. @ Mar 13th 2008 9:42AM
You think europe will get Elefunk next week? I'm trying to find more info on it for its US release
Wild Pegasus @ Mar 13th 2008 9:28AM
Ok, Time to pack my bags and migrate!!!!!
ClarkyCat @ Mar 13th 2008 9:18AM
How on earth could anyone say this update has a lack of PAIN?!
Dahk @ Mar 13th 2008 9:44AM
Haha I skimmed over that the first time, but its true.
I think this one is one of the most (... along with every other update) PAINful ones for you Europers.
Da @ Mar 13th 2008 10:15PM
Dahk, nice way of gaying out someones good joke.
mills.edward @ Mar 13th 2008 9:20AM
Ahh the joys of being European, I've learnt to abandon all hope and expect the worst.
sUKi @ Mar 13th 2008 9:20AM
Elefunk was actually worth watching. other than that. BLEGH
wilboss @ Mar 13th 2008 9:34AM
Luckily I'm a Guitar Hero addict so this weeks update isn't a _complete_ waste of time for me, even though we are a week behind America with our new tracks.
The free St. Patrick's Day track pack (Dropkick Murphys) would be awesome, but as Europe didn't received either of the last 2 free tracks ("We Three Kings" Steve Ouimette and "Dream On" Aerosmith) I'm not holding my breath...
Nick C. @ Mar 13th 2008 9:41AM
PAIN will be released in EU on March 20 according to Travis Williams, the game's producer. He denied rumors that it would be released today, so I'm not quite sure why you are surprised. I do agree though that the rest of your (lack of) content sucks.
stirlo @ Mar 14th 2008 2:26AM
gee, only like 4 months late! i've already played the game out, i think anyone who wanted it in EU region would have created a fake US account by now...
Huschke @ Mar 13th 2008 10:32AM
What are you guys complaining about? It could be worse! We could get such a crappy update AND it could rain!
LT.ShinySides @ Mar 13th 2008 10:35AM
3 things!!!!! not even crappy music vids...for shame! :( ...never thought i`d say the best thing on the store this week is a theme....
Aaron @ Mar 13th 2008 10:58AM
Wow what a bunch of complaining babies grow up. Be thankfull Sony is even releasing content. They dont have to do this you know. Man.
S Dots @ Mar 13th 2008 11:31AM
YES THEY DO!!! if they want to compete with Xbox (live and marketplace), DLC is a must, but with crud like this, what's the bloody point.
zely2k @ Mar 13th 2008 3:55PM
well they sort of have to otherwise ppl will go to the 360 to get to play arcade games like geometry wars, N+ or other games.....
M.Biggs @ Mar 13th 2008 11:08AM
Man, UK gets shafted again
chris.westermann @ Mar 13th 2008 11:09AM
Honestly, Pain isn't good at all, stop complaining about not having it. Its fun for like 1 hour, then you will never play it again. From the lack of content and depth to inane and repetitive gameplay, Pain is no where near one of the better PSN games released. Lets put it this way. If you thought the trailer was fun and exciting, just play the trailer over about 100 times, if you still find it fun and exciting, get the game, otherwise don't. The game is the trailer, period.

kung fu shenanigans @ Mar 13th 2008 11:20AM
Aaron, I've seen you post a comment like that on multiple occasions. Shut the fuck up. Sony DOES have to provide, or they lose customers.
For my Euro homies: just make a US PSN account. I have a UK account, for the odd occasion that the UK store gets something the US store doesn't. All you have to do is make a new use profile, then register for PSN under it.
Eggy @ Mar 13th 2008 11:29AM
lose consuemrs because weekly updates are not good enough. Yeah right, what a load of bollocks.
linebeginstoblur @ Mar 13th 2008 12:50PM
No, Sony does not have to release all kinds of new content every week. You could also say that, in order to compete with the 360 and Wii, PS3 needs to release new disc-based games on a weekly basis, but does that mean, if there's any week in which no PS3 disc is newly released, that Sony is finished?
All SCE has to do is maintain the PlayStation Store. I do feel sorry for Europeans, I honestly do, and I'm not saying they don't have a reason to complain now, but I see these complaints every week. Not every week is the week of your dreams.
Tell me when Sony goes a week or two without updating the PlayStation Store, because when THAT happens, THAT is worth complaining about.
It's the same thing with firmware updates, but to an even worse degree. Sony is being nice by adding new features occasionally, but there is no argument you could give that Sony would ever HAVE to keep adding things. You bought the PS3 for what it does, so what is there to complain about? Give SCE and Sony a break.
Steve Childs @ Mar 14th 2008 5:14AM
linesbegintoblur: I'd agree with you, if it wasn't for the fact that the US store gets way more content than the EU Store.
And Pain is a case in point - 4 months it took them to release it in the EU Store - what they hell were they doing for those 4 months?
Oh yeah, creating more purchasable content for the US store...
Well, they've got their priorities, I've got mine. If it had come out within a reasonable time, I would have bought it. But as they took the piss, I'll pass on it.
Unless it comes bundled with all the extras you had to pay for in the US, then I may think about it.
elephant_stone @ Mar 13th 2008 11:38AM
Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
George Arauz @ Mar 13th 2008 1:02PM
Whats the problem? Why cant Sony make a Sony site as good as Xbox live? How hard can it be??
Wayne @ Mar 13th 2008 5:15PM
These updates are rubbish. The PlayStation store is rubbish. It's like a small useless version of steam (for PC).
Animal7417 @ Mar 13th 2008 9:16PM
I'm usually one to back sony up but the store is just bloody annoying. This is the 4th week in a row I think that we have only had a trailer or a theme or something crappy like that. I watched a video on youtube about the whole ps1 classics thing and the spokesman pretty much said they could just release them all now but they want to only release a few at a time. Riiiiight so why the hell have we just gone a month with lame excuses for updates? Could have at least had a couple of classics in there.
But anyway, the store is getting a massive overhawl in April with the arrival of Home, so maybe they're saving all the good stuff for the big day. I'd rather have a bit more now to be honest...
Nath @ Mar 14th 2008 4:05PM
what i waste of time, was it even worth updating.
