Another huge Crisis Core media update

Octaslash? Come on now, that's a bit un-inventive. Sounds kind of dumb, but we're willing to bet that move is going to look wickedly stylish in the actual game. Aside from that one odd naming scheme, these screenshots of Crisis Core are spectacular.

We sure are excited for this game, especially after seeing these nostalgic screens. Also, some in-game cut scene vids have made there way up on the interwebs; those, too, are loaded with nostalgia. Check out the gallery below, and the trailers after the break.

Dude, the graphics in this game are 100000 times better than god of war. I dont know why people were saying "we didnt know the psp could do that" and "god of war has the best visuals" etc etc.

This game is going to rock.

I hate all the hackers that are downloading this game. This game deserves 40 bucks. Come on, we need more games like this. If you were thinking about downloading it, DONT.

now bad news for you I have checked isohunt and it seems that there are 175 seeders and 2648 leechers ... now you can take this as good news and bad news. good since they are so many leechers there wont be anymore people who are willing enough to wait like 10 days just to get the game. bad news like 2.7K downloads were completed...Im as ashamed as you are and gasphed or is that even a word...nvm

I'd actually have to disagree with you on the graphics part lol. I STILL think God of War has this by the neck in terms of graphics.

Some of those environments in God of War were just... absolutely... absolutely breath taking. Beautiful character models, stunning walkways and paths, rock solid framerate and zero load times!

Crisis Core gives it a run for the money, but I still think it ends up going to God of War. In any case the 10000x better is completely wrong =P.

And to the piracy thing. Yeah lol, you won't get rid of those people, so just let it be and leave these comments for game-smacking/talking. I got this on pre-order, although Canadian pre-orders kind of ... SUCK.

calot is right, i BEG people not to download this, even if it becomes availiable... because if you do, it's less likely Square-Enix will think about a remake of the original FF7 because of hackers & bootleggers. Any FF7 game is worth the money, just because of the time it taken to make it.

I think it's more important to encourage the people who have downloaded to also purchase the game. I'm one of those 2700, but I have already paid in full for my copy that should be arriving in a week or so.

Just keep in mind that not all of those 2700 are thieves.

Dude people shouldnt download games, at least not the good ones. Games that suck, well, download them I dont care. But games like FF VII, or any other good RPG shouldnt be downloaded.

Piracy is holding back the game industry, less money for developers means smaller budgets for games. Now who doesnt want good games?

I really wish you guys didn't do that post on piracy here on Fanboy. Yeah, I know it's an issue that's critical to the PSP. Still, I don't like reading the comments here anymore because every article about games will draw too many snarky comments on how piracy is going to ruin the game.

Yes, there are people downloading it. Those who read on PSP Fanboy probably care more about the games (buy games) than other Internet Anonymous. Can't we just assume it's happening and stop talking about it over and over again?

Did I just make a snarky post about piracy? Hypocrite!

I cant wait to play this game. I own it but its in japanese since I got the psp crisis core bundle. Do you know how that feels? HAving that game and just being able to see the opening scene? Have you seen it? Its got advent children-like graphics.

Are people blind? How can you compare graphics in god of war with graphics in crisis core? Rock solid framerate? Dude, I dont mean to be an ass, but youre totally wrong. Ive seen screen tearing in the game, MANY times, some objects, like doors, turn black while the camera is moving, and Im not the only one who notices this, many other people notice it too. Maybe you should take your fanboy glasses off and see the truth...

@dude899 -- sadly, with torrents, the more leachers the faster everybody gets their file. Even leachers can provide pieces of the file to each other, which is why it's such an efficient method of distribution--they're not waiting in line, they're part of the source. With enough people sharing, you could download an entire DVD in a couple hours.

the reason the game looks good is because the enemies spawn in in RANDOM BATTLE fashion.

still rocks though...

and I'll probably buy the game now that I see how good it is...

This game PALES in comparison to
GOW and Syphon Filter (both), it does not play as well nor does it look as good. It seems to jump around, to hear Conflict resolved is lame to hear. The voice acting poor.

Kratos and Gabe Logan take a bow as you OWN this game!

you are all pretty hypocritical, you are saying some games deserve not to be stolen and some do not? who are you to decide? all of them -- god OR bad -- are a product of someone's work and effort, and they shouldn't be robbed of reward. f**ing kids...
