Six PS1 games hit Japanese PSN

Several PS1 games have hit the Japanese PSN today. Six in total, actually. One of them was the previously announced Metal Gear Solid. It's a pretty diverse set of games, here's the full list:

Atelier Elie
Crash Bash (aka Crash Bandicoot Carnival)
Dezaemon Kids!
Master of Monsters: Disciples of Gaia
Metal Gear Solid
Pro Mahjong Kiwame Plus II

That makes: one tactical espionage thriller in MGS, one RPG in Atelier Elie, a strategy adventure in Master of Monsters, Mahjong Plus II speaks for itself, Crash Bash is a party game, and Dezaemon Kids! is some sort of art title for children. Pretty nice list; however, MGS is top dog this week.

Man . Japanese gamers get so awesome titles over the PSN . When will we ever see an update list like this ?

This doesn't make any sense...America has to be a bigger video game market, so why do the Japanese get 10x the number of games? Do Japanese companies not like money? How come the American developers aren't pushing for more releases through the PS-Store?

Dezaemon Kids! is not a kids art tool. It's a vert/horz shooter maker. Dezaemon+ was released on PSN a few weeks back.

Duh japan will get more updates like this, PSP is the highest selling console in japan, sony is from japan, I mean what would we think if XBOX released everything good in japan that would be rediculous! Sony + Japan = Maximum profits, use your heads!

No the DS is the highest selling console in Japan, then the PS2. The PSP is above all 7th gen consoles. Also, PSN has historically bombed in Japan(they have an aversion to credit cards). To be fair the PSP has sold more in North America than any other region(we have the more gamers than the other regions).
