God of War PSP bundle box art revealed

What an eye-grabber. The upcoming God of War Entertainment Pack gives bloodthirsty players a brand new red PSP, a copy of Chains of Olympus, Syphon Filter: Combat Ops and the UMD movie Superbad -- all for $199. The problem? It won't be available until May.

I'm about { } that close to buying the Daxter pack... but that one is kind of sexy and 2 games may just seal the deal.

I may have to reserve judgement to see that red in person though.

It should be like the guy who modded his PSP and ebayed to ready at dawn. Remember that sick looking PSP?

In any case, the console and the game alone is worth 200 bucks.

I still think that this GOW pack should have came with 300 instead of superbad. I wonder why that movie was picked.

That being said the bundle looks nice.

Probably because they don't want it to be associated with the 300 game! Might lower the value of the package.

...okay, more likely because Suberbad is a Columbia (Sony Pictures) movie and 300 is Warner.

Great bundle over all though! Too bad they couldn't have released it at the same time as the game--the people who'd really be into it probably already have CoO.

Yeah I heard some random statistic was like 1/3 of all people who bought CoO, bought a frickin' new PSP! Lol if this came out, I think much of those sales would've churned to this package.

Although I'm not too fond of the red PSP colouring, but I'm picky and a mad lover of piano black, so everythings boring to me except for the original =P.

... and POWAR to the patapon avatars. (too lazy to change =S).

Very good idea, 300 instead of Superbad. I agree, that would be more appropriate with this package.

Nothing against Superbad, it was an ok movie, but Sony seems to think that PSP owners want sophmoric "teen" movies, usually comedies, and that's why the earlier UMD releases failed in their minds. They're wrong, of course... but that's why they include something like Superbad and Family Guy in their packages.

I'm not really digging the color as much as I am the bundle itself. And 300 would have mad a much better pack in movie :)

Is there no memory stick at all? Including a psn game voucher and no memory stick to put it on? It's like a cruel joke! Still, for a mere 30 extra dollars, it's a great deal. I will say that a milky red psp with a big pink ring on the back isn't what first comes to mind when I think God of War. To each their own. All black with a red metal ring and red button labels would have looked incredible, I think.

Trust me, it's less "milky" than the pictures would have you think. It's much more like a "very fast car" red. Only the ring looks pinkish, and that's because it's metallic. Red + white light = pink.

I imported this color from Japan back before SCEA decided to slap Kratos on the back and sell it to Americans. Worth it, definitely.

I'll have to check it out in person, a PSP in Corvette's Victory Red wouldn't be too shabby looking. Though I'm not one to toss my silver one aside just for a new color. I doubt you're upset that a big white kratos isn't slapped on the back of yours!

Still mad this wasnt released the same day as Chains of Olympus.........I had bought a PSP the weekend before they announced this and I figure this would be released the same time as the game......so I took bak my other PSP.........needless to say I've been PSP-less since.....

Didnt know it came with Combat Ops tho........good stuff........it'll make it worth the wait I guess.......
