X-Blades website hacks, slashes, goes live

We hadn't really heard much about the upcoming PS3 title X-Blades. It's also coming to the 360 and PC, but we've got to say it seems like there's potential. Dubbed a hack-n'-slash masterpiece, it covers the adventure of a relic hunter named Ayumi who has to, well, hack and slash her way through armies of baddies to get what she's after. The website is live and you can check out the art style, proposed mechanics and whatnot. In the coming weeks and most certainly closer to its Autumn 2008 release, more information will appear. We'll keep our eyes peeled.

Sorry, but just didn't look too appealing to me. Graphics look very dated (xboxish). Seems like they are just borrowing gamplay elements from several games...nothing new.

Even if they update the graphics and such, I must admit that the main character does not appeal to me. Over done stereotype of adolescent lust anyone?
Damnit, people complain about Heavenly Sword, but in my eyes HS did the hack and slash genre proud with an adult story line and pretty decent combat system (Even if it did only come into it's own in the last 10% of the game).
Now if only God of War 3 would be released in 2 weeks I could be happy, and I could find a way to the magical land of Narnia and eat sugar buffs forever more....

Wasn't this a Russian Anime show?
If it is I probably won't be buying it.

It's not that I have anything against Russia or its people,
but I HATE my Russian teacher: Mrs. Olga Dobry.

Waste of space.
Can't teach either.
Not even joking.

But overall I do agree that the graphics look worthy to be on the Wii and PS2.

Well, I'm going to give a try. I like this type of genre game. But the graphics aren't the best on the world but the gameplay can isn't?

I posted some questions at the forums a couple of days ago. ATM I think the devs are waiting for confirmation from Sony. Here is a small excerpt.

Oh, I was just reading possible 360 and PS3 version. Great, now which should I get??

- The Xbox 360 concept is approved. Regarding the PS3 X-Blades requires firts party approval - before we can say something about it.

As planned at the moment will there be any differences in the game between the 3 different systems?

- Yes. There will be exclusive content for console plattforms.

For the PS3, any plans to incorporate remote-play?
