More PSP theft! Dude, get your own, indeed

We almost think people read about PSP thefts on this site, get excited, and want their time in the spotlight. Let us say it again: we do not condone PSP theft and we will mock you if you do it. Like this latest entry in the ongoing saga of "steal the PSP from someone younger than you".

A 13-year-old was at GameStop watching his brother play on the Wii the store has on display when three teenagers came up and started interrogating the kid about his limited edition Darth Vader PSP, like whether or not it had any movies on it. The kid said no, took it out to check the time (apparently watches and cell phones don't work anymore ... not that a 13-year-old has any real reason to own a cell phone), and it was snatched away. Did it really take three teens to ask a kid a question and steal a PSP? Only if they're cowards who need confirmation of their awesomeness from each other. Except they're not awesome; they're idiots.

This is so pathetic! Man, and i even have a star wars limited edition PSP!

Everytime i read these stories I start daydreaming about catching one of the kids as they are making their getaway, and beating the crap out of them. I absolutely despise these scumbags.

I'm surprised a 13 year old didn't have enough sense to make such a raucous in store that the store clerk wouldn't get involved and help out. don't places like gamestop have a surveillance cam? cause they certainly don't have any other theft deterrents except for mostly empty boxes.

I see those kind of stuff everyday when I go to the mall. People gang up on one kid and sometimes violence was involved. Of course this involves DS, PSP, GBA and GBC/GB!!! Right now a GB or GBC costs $10 MAX!!! Of course even I am an innocent by-standard in the situations, but not all the times though. Only when its like a 7 year old or 13 year old or even younger. Maybe people who makes modds can make a electric shocker that sends electricity on the shell of the psp or something like toxic gas by remote control using Ad - Hoc function

I take my PSP out and about sometime and I really hope some idiot doesnt try to take mine away. Of course I would push one of the kids into one of the walls or stands to make a big commotion and draw attention to whats happening. Maybe jump behind the counter and try to get the employee to call the cops or something. Or if all else fails just start swinging, unless they got a weapon cuz then its ridiculous to risk your life over a material possesion. It would be really cool if the gamestop gave the kid a new psp or something.

Kinda surprised no one mentioned the brother getting involved. Hell, if it was an older brother I'd scream, shout, and tantrum all I could to distract them whilst my elder brother melee'd some justice on these goons. Or if it was a younger brother, I'd have him use his photographic memory and social skills to alert the clerk to the issue while chases the culprits, never letting them out of my sight.

If that happened to me, I would shoot the lights out, then sneak up behind the kids one by one, snap their necks, and hide their bodies in a dark corner. Then I would jump up and grab the pipe above me and crawl along it to the open roof vent where a helicopter would hopefully be waiting to extract me.
