Not bad news, just managing expectations. I wouldn't be surprised if Killzone slid into '09. Even if it does, Sony will still have a great lineup of games. I think Sony's E3 showing will be the tell-tale sign. Of course, by then we may very well be enlightened with more information. Still excited about the game though. From the dialogue of Sony execs, and the absence of new info, it kinda makes me think that the game isn't going to come out this year...and if it does that Sony's not so sure it will be that great. From what I've heard them say on gametrailers and various interviews, its as if they're trying to position Resistance 2 in its place. They rarely mention Killzone 2. But then that could just be me looking far to closely at it.

I'll tell you one thing, I don't mind waiting for this game, but it damn well better be AAA!

I agree. As long as its a really good game i don't mind the wait. If its not, Guerrilla will not be looking good...

whatever. if it aint finished then dont release it, but they are in serious danger here cause if they wait too much longer after September, Resistance 2 will be close or out (Novemeber) and that will seriously cut into the pull this game can generate or cause them to push it into early 2009. they better get on the ball for real.

Does anyone else hope that Killzone 2 NEVER comes out?
This is getting ridiculous. There is no way that this game can ever live up to its hype now. Think about it... if it does not change the gaming industry, people are gonna ask why the hell it took so long.
My K2 money is definitely going elsewhere now...
*sigh*
