I preordered mine from amazon must be 2 or more months ago.... basically as soon as amazon put the special edition on their site.

Same over here buddy. I pre-ordered GTA IV Special Edition for the PS3 from Amazon.com when they first offered the pre-order.

Great commercial, showed a lot of stuff. I have never preordered a game in my life though, never understood the big deal. On launch date I will walk into my local best buy and they will have 50 copies on the shelf like always.
