Celebrate 20 years of Metal Gear with a fun trailer

It's hard to believe the Solid Snake saga has gone on for twenty years. What's even harder to believe is that the fourth entry in the Metal Gear Solid franchise is but two months away. So, to celebrate both the long life of Kojima's beloved game series and the impending release of what will undoubtedly destroy many gamers' lives for a few weeks, a trailer for you chronicling the many Snakes of years past. Enjoy!

I just got that Metal Gear Solid 4 Saga disc. I haven't checked it out yet. I can't wait until the 17th of April because that is when the Metal Gear Online beta can be downloaded, or so it said on that little slip that came with the
DVD. Is the online game going to be included with the main game or will it be sold seperately?

I think it'll be a separate game, but you get a little demo / small portion of Metal Gear Online with MGS4.

you get a starter pack with MGS4, and if u like it you can get the rest of the Playstation Store....can't wait to beta test it on the 21st!!! And i bought the essential collection today!!! Ahhh.

not to show my age, but i thought metal gear came out in 1987 so that would be 21 years right?

Your right its about 21 years old but this is tech. the 20th year.. I guess its when the actual game hit the US, if I'm not mistaken it came out in Japan first then the U.S. *I think* either way this is the most respected franchise out and I can't wait for the game to come out!!

i just remember that i got it before i moved to korea and i moved to korea in 88, so i'm pretty sure it was out here in 87.

I just picked up the Metal Gear Saga Vol 2.0 disc last night. Pretty cool, but it's only 20 minutes long and then has about 7 MS4 trailers.

Technically it's more like the fifth. Portable Ops was considered Canon, wasn't it?

A few weeks??? make it a few months for me, i'm kinda slow when playing video games, I love to sabor em. My friend calls me the Slowpoke of videogames, took me 2 weeks to complete each Kingdome Hearts, and 1 week God Hand, while most of my friends make it in only 3 or 4 days. Maybe because they have much more free time than me, xD
