Sweet!I absolutely loved PL...
Bob @ Apr 9th 2008 2:55AM
Sweet, ordered Life of Brian, First Blood and Evil Dead 2.

Not the greatest selection of titles they've ever had for a sale though :( The only one I want that I don't already have on this list is Run Lola Run, the hard part is finding 2 others

Aww, don't spoil Pan's Labyrinth, that moment is such a surprise when you don't know it's coming. It was all innocent before then, seemed like a normal fantasy film to me.
David @ Apr 9th 2008 8:49AM
Pans Labyrinth is an amazing film if you dont mind subtitles. Its a dark mature fantasy story for adults.
Popfrogs @ Apr 9th 2008 10:12AM
Yeah if you enjoyed that, check out Devil's Backbone. Another great film from the same director.

When my brother saw it in the theaters, he noticed a bunch of family's in there with small kids. Apparently they got suckered in by the poster, which made it look like a family-friendly fantasy oops.

Get both seasons of weeds and a freebie? What a no brainer.

Bring back the Amazon BOGOs!
Tru-blu @ Apr 9th 2008 10:05AM
I like these deals, but with this list, Amazon should've had it at 'buy one, get one free'
James @ Apr 9th 2008 10:22AM
I agree Tru-blu, too few choices. I think I might pick up Blade Runner and maybe Big Fish and Crash. I already own a lot of these - The Fugitive on DVD (it's not even good quality on that), 300, The Departed. There are some new ones, but most of these are a rehash.
alessar @ Apr 9th 2008 11:19AM
Interestingly, at least 2 titles there (Fifth Element remastered version and House of Flying Daggers) were $15 about a week ago (and I bought them) and are $20 now.

Pan's Labyrinth and Blade Runner are really the only two titles worth owning on this list. Weeds is a decent show but the video quality of the first season is really really suspect. Some dark scenes look downright horrible. Run Lola Run would be my third choice, although I have no idea how the BD transfer turned out.
never$$hort @ Apr 9th 2008 2:44PM
Run Lola Run received a great transfer:

You are most welcome. I picked up Blade Runner, Fifth Element, and A Knight's Tale. Pan's Labyrinth was alright, but not one that I think I'd watch again. These sales unfortunately are few and far between; definitely take advantage!

Eek! I already have most of the good movies listed here! =S
No sale from me until I see some Kubrick listed! (like the last BOGOF!)
