We've often reported of theft of people's PSP's and PS3's. Now we finally get to report on some vigilante justice -- a woman, former boxer Derdre Rodriguez, caught a burglar trying to get her PlayStation 3 and PSP out of her house. She did what anyone with love for video games would: she grabbed an ice chipper and went after the burglar. After what we can applaud as a complete success, she managed to protect her beloved goods. You can watch the
interview with the woman over at CNN. We hope to hear more stories of PS3 and PSP protection in the future. This is awesome.

I remember one of these where the guy was a retired boxer and knocked the theif clean out. Ice chippers are good, too. She must have been playing condemned 2.

Errm ice chipper.
Kabapu @ Apr 11th 2008 3:05AM
An ice pick, hm ..? Anyone else reminded of "Perfect Blue"?
LeBigMac @ Apr 11th 2008 9:12AM
With the state of law in North America, I wouldn't be surprised if the thief turns around and sues her because she hit him. Criminals have more rights than victims these days it seems.
BowserUSC @ Apr 12th 2008 3:58PM
Uh, no they don't. You're an idiot.
