PLAYSTATION Store for PC gets cosmetic makeover
Just like its PS3 brethren, the PLAYSTATION Store for PC has also received a mild facelift. Changes are mild, but apparent. From the moment you type the URL into your browser, you'll see the country select screen has changed. Instead of choosing from a drop-down menu, you can simply click on your country. Yes!
Beyond that, you'll notice a few aesthetic differences. For example, you'll see a red PlayStation bag icon appear on items you've already purchased. Head over to the Download List on top to get anything you've already purchased.
While the PS3 Store redesign is far more significant, it's nice to see the Store look as sleek as it does now. Now, we're hoping to see some real content appear on the Store. This Thursday, perhaps?

Meh, they should update the countries, I can buy stuff from Nintendo Virtual Console, with my Credit Card, same with Microsoft and Xbox Live, but nothing from the PSN, and I want Beats and some PS1 games.....

im pretty sure i just went on there and bought it with my credit card. but i also already had a PS3 PSN account too if that makes any difference.

He apparently can't buy stuff from his country, even with a credit card. That's what he said.

There are lots of problems with some perfectly valid CCs not working at the PSN store.

Wow, so the Sony that is renowned for its stylish products re-releases this ugly mother. Color choices are poor and navigation is sloppy.
Pathetic.

LOL it looks great if you ask me...very similar to the PS3 version. PS3 fans are so picky.

Cycosuicide @ Apr 15th 2008 2:13AM
Great...and MAC support is where?????? Lame!
Hashbrown Hunter @ Apr 15th 2008 10:30AM
Ok, I can definitely agree with you there, that they should've released the Mac version of the downloader now.
Pilch @ Apr 15th 2008 11:52AM
I agree too: no Mac support means that I can't use the store, no matter how blue they make it. Sony, I want to give you my money, can you hear us?
pjak @ Apr 15th 2008 2:26AM
nice, but now it doesn't fit fully on-screen (1024x768)... small amount of right side is cut and must be scrolled to view...
Duffski @ Apr 15th 2008 9:30AM
This will all be worth it ... if Sony add MORE CONTENT! Stop giving us (in the UK) rubbish like 'Reel Fishing', and give us decent stuff, at the same time as the rest of the world (and by that I mean Japan and America). Where's Fl0w, Resident Evil, Ape Quest..? And what about the downloadable content for Monster Hunter that Japan gets? It's about time everyone at SCEE got a kick up the a**e.
