Check out the new Eye of Judgment theme decks
While Europe has had Set 2 of Eye of Judgment for a little while now, the American release isn't until April 28th. A new post on the PlayStation.Blog gives a preview of the theme decks found in Set 2. Select cards from each of the decks is laid out in the blog post, along with a bit of a tactics blurb. Interesting stuff for fans of the game.
The patch, which enables the cards in Set 2 to be used in Eye of Judgment is available right now on the European PSN Store for £6.99/€9.99. It should be up "soon" on the American store. Hopefully this Thursday, then.

maybe i'm missing something but if you have to pay for the cards, why would you have to also pay for the patch?

Lol, Europeans get this first... Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until Thursday for this expansion.

The cards were in stores April 18th (I bought up 23 boosters already). It's torture having to wait until the expansion download this Thursday. I wish they'd coordinated that part better.
In response to pww1, I think it's fair we have to pay for the expansion software itself--a lot of programming went into it and we're getting it for only $15. Sure, we have to pay for the cards, too, but that money doesn't go to the software developers, that goes to Wizards of the Coast. Considering how much set 2 changes the entire game, I think the pricing is very fair.

I still think it amazing that they charge the price of a theme deck, just to unlock the set 2 cards. I personally won't be buying the "expansion pack" until it comes down in price significantly, £2 maybe, not £7. Its just such a rip off imho, going to put people off getting set 2 cards.
