Overload on new Overlord media
Overlord: Raising Hell is coming to PS3 this June. This enhanced port of the Xbox 360 original contains new features not found in the original, such as newly detailed visuals, 7.1 surround sound and feature additions, such as the new on-screen mini-map. It will also include all the levels from Raising Hell.
Players must take their minion horde and take over each abyss to claim the underworld throne, vanquishing all that get in the way. Yes, you'll have to get rid of pesky "hero" types as well. Our friends at X3F described the process of controlling your minions as "Pikmin-like." But more evil, of course.
Check out new screens in our gallery below, and check out the new trailer at www.codemasters.com/overlordraisinghell.

I think I'm actually looking forward to it; even knowing that it is a mediocre game. We need some games that aren't FPSes, as much as I love them a change would be nice.
And glad to see the expansion and extra content will be coming with our version, nice to see the company putting some effort in to compensate for the insane 'delay'/how long it took for them to decide to port it. Not a bad deal.

I totally agree, DAK--this is a nice change of pace from the steady influx of FPS's we've seen lately (I've not bought a new PS3 game since December because just about everything released is just another FPS with a different coat of paint. I'm sick of them.)
Overlord caught my eye a while ago and I was disappointed that it was for XBox, so I'm glad they're bringing this over. Has anyone played it and maybe can provide some details? Is it an RTS? Looks very interesting...

This and Dead Rising were about the only two games I considered keeping my 360 for. It's more an action/adventure game with sporadic puzzle-solving. Most of the combat is handling by your minions (your character basically says "go forth minions and do my bidding"). The humor is very Shrek-like. I'll definitely be purchasing this when it's released.

This game always reminds me of Dungen Keeper...
...I'll probably pick it up sooner or later.

This game is a totally overlooked and under-appreciated gem. I had a blast playing through it on 360 and it's one of the rare games with a personality and a fresh approach. It's absolutely worth a play through.

This is obviously something different than that terrible MMO'RPG'... This looks kinda cool, maybe I'll look into it.
I keep getting the two mixed up because one of their devs obviously has no clue how to use Google before naming their project.

Any word on when the demo will arrive?
