First good Rock Band songs in a long time. Thank you Harmonix!

i totally love paying $1.99 instead of $2.99. just hope our dollar doesn't drop, then it will go back to the way it was :)

Only one more week till Pixeljunk Monsters: Encore!
warlock7 @ May 2nd 2008 11:18AM
So, the VERY early in May thing was BS. Not quite so VERY early in May is more like it!
Dan Davis @ May 2nd 2008 11:25AM
I've posted this before, but here it is again:
Hello again,
PixelJunk Monsters Encore was intended to be released in the West on
April 24th but a few hiccups in the submission/debugging process
delayed
it a couple of weeks. We now have our fingers crossed that it will
make it onto the US store by May 8th, and the EU/Australia version
should
only be a week or two after that. (it takes a little extra time to
prepare the translations for all those countries in the EU!)
Anyway, the launch in Japan has been a great success and they are
getting a slight head start on the global ranking tables but you
should be
able to soon catch up with them.
We've even heard from a couple of people who have already managed to
clear it and see the rather special bonus extra we prepared.
In other news PixelJunk Eden is moving along in leaps and bounds
(literally), and you never know, it might be an under-the-radar Summer
hit!
(well, we can dream, right?)
Regards
Dylan Cuthbert

My g/f and I will be getting this 100% next week (it's only $10!) since we will be too busy playing GTAIV, GT5:P and MarioKart Wii, & PJ:Monsters (sadly?).....
Kellian @ May 1st 2008 5:50PM
Soon as I saw that Echochrome was coming out today, I knew they weren't releasing Pixel Junk Monsters Encore, which is really a shame.
Otsego_Undead @ May 1st 2008 6:16PM
PJM: E officially comes out next thursday.
OddyOh @ May 1st 2008 5:59PM
"Burnout Paradise Wyclef "Fast Car" video (free)"
Is this new? Cause I got it a few weeks ago...or is it another 'behind-the-scenes' vid?

"...for anyone who likes feeling mentally challenged."
I don't think you realize what you've just said. And if you did, I lol in your general direction.
frankym @ May 1st 2008 6:57PM
Was going to get Echocrome but after playing the demo I decided to hold off. The game is ok, not great.
chimaera9 @ May 1st 2008 8:10PM
Yeah, I tried the demo and wasn't that excited, either. What annoyed me was the controls--movement doesn't feel fluid enough and it's more frustrating trying to position things than it should be. Sixaxis control might have actually worked better than the existing configuration, honestly. The fast movement was too fast, while the slow was far too slow. Maybe it's just me, but that was enough to put me off the game.
Devin @ May 1st 2008 9:04PM
Frank,
You do know that you can pause your character in-game, right? This causes him to "think", allowing you to configure the perspective to how you want before he will continue in his direction, so you're losing me on the whole walking "too fast" / "too slow" thing.....
I like how the controls are precise and accelerate exponentially allowing me to line up columns or make slight perspective adjustments for things like jumps, but that's just me so.......
MrGuru @ May 2nd 2008 3:18AM
You Guys are aware that you can use the sixaxis in the game? you hold r1 and you can tilt the controller to move the board around.
Adam @ May 1st 2008 9:54PM
First good Rock Band songs in a long time?
You have an incredibly limited, shitty taste in music if you're being serious.
warlock7 @ May 2nd 2008 11:19AM
Oh, come on. Zero is a great track.
Justin @ May 2nd 2008 12:52PM
He's saying you suck for not liking anything previously, Warlock. He isn't knocking Zero. Dumbass.
Nils @ May 2nd 2008 4:25AM
Oh, I'm getting fed up with this "release to USA first" regime.
If the game industry had monopoly on news as well, we in europe would have gotten the news about the Enron scandal just about now i guess.
Tony @ May 2nd 2008 11:26AM
So does anyone have a link for PJM:Encore releasing May 8? Man, echochrome demo was boring. PJM:E, please!!
warlock7 @ May 2nd 2008 11:38AM
Thanks Dylan.
I, for one, would've appreciated a clearer statement the first time around when you all said "very early in May". Which I, and many others, took to mean May 1, not May 8. You have to understand that with this generation, the continual pushing back of launch dates and patch dates is very frustrating. The industry as a whole could do a much better job at keeping consumers up-to-date with where you all are in the development process.
I still enjoy the game very much, keep up the good work.
