Double EU PSN Store update next week to celebrate PlayStation Day
SCEE might just find themselves back in European PS3 owners' good books after next week. PlayStation Day, a press-only event in London, takes place on the 6th of May. The press conference at the event will be hosted by Kaz Hirai and David Reeves (President of SCEE) and will no doubt include some interesting announcements. We'll be there to give you up to the minute news as it happens. To celebrate PlayStation Day, the European PSN Store will be updated twice next week. Once on Tuesday and once on Thursday. Those of you who have become disheartened with the European PSN updates might want to take special note to this line-up. In total you can expect to see four demos, three full games and five add-on packs spread across the two updates. Plus a nice collection of videos, including the PlayStation Day press conference itself, hosted by Kaz Hirai.
Check out the full list of content for Tuesday's update below. Thursday's list can be seen after the break.

Wow each update is actually kickass by themselves. Back to back is even better.
DMeisterJ @ May 2nd 2008 5:06PM
So now we can see if all the delays made Haze an awesome experience or not.
Daniel @ May 2nd 2008 5:52PM
My question is when do americans get the haze demo? is the first double line up for the US next week on thursday?
AshStampede @ May 2nd 2008 6:24PM
maybe not as free radical is a uk company, they might give europe a weeks start. but just google a game store locator and use that as your address and create a europe account.
the_matrix @ May 2nd 2008 5:08PM

Siren blood curse... is that the name for "siren new translation? because if it is... it sounds like a horror movie cliche.
toptup @ May 2nd 2008 5:55PM
SCEE have to do some work for once coz the Big Boss Kaz Hirai is coming to London! Hope he gives David Reeves (SCEE Boss) a good hard kick up his lazy behind LOL
Rowdehaj @ May 2nd 2008 6:00PM
Looks like they finally got off their arses and did something for the continent that matters most (to their sales)!
Go SCEE! :D
russ @ May 2nd 2008 6:15PM
This is hardly reason for the EU customers to celebrate improvement to the poor service that SCEE gives.
These games came out in the US ages ago. EU customers should be getting their content about the same time as their US cousins. An online console is supposed to be a GLOBAL SERVICE. Bowling came out in the US 5 months ago!!
adolson @ May 2nd 2008 9:52PM
Please point me to a US retailer from which I can buy Haze. Thanks.
redpill @ May 2nd 2008 6:45PM
i wouldnt be suprised if its 2 updates that week and none the week after lol
boltu222 @ May 2nd 2008 7:23PM
More like none for the rest of the year >_>
I dunno how to state it but I'm happy with the update but if they can't keep up with near decent quality updates at least every other week then theres no point in becoming pro SCEE now.
Vincent @ May 8th 2008 8:05PM
Finally the Haze demo, as well as Bourne Conspiracy. I ought to use my EU acc once more.
Weirdo93 @ May 2nd 2008 7:54PM
yo im gonna get a European account now lmao
i want HAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
john smith @ May 2nd 2008 8:07PM
Why no Iron Man?
Groundskeeper Willie @ May 2nd 2008 8:57PM
I want to know what it is they're announcing that is worth Kaz flying over from Japan.
Can't wait for that Haze demo, hopefully it's going to silence some of the doubters.
evilfoxhound @ May 3rd 2008 11:23AM
Wow it's those Tiger Woods '08 courses I have been waiting for!................. Oh, wait. NO! I am still waiting ¬.¬
sam @ May 3rd 2008 6:36AM
wow... what a bunch of crap... and i cant believe people are still hyped about haze, it looked good 6 months ago but now its just any normal shooter... and theres really nothing here that is very good... then add that the prices will definatly be way over the top compared to america and once again europe get the crap, even with two updates! ;\
the joys of England...(Europe...)
JaseH @ May 3rd 2008 10:45PM
I'm actually wanting Haze :)
The multiplayer should be great. Stop being so narrow minded.
