"Will the more realistic Indiana Jones game be as appealing?"
Uncharted all over again?, then maybe it'll be fun, but there's gonna have to be a lot of everything IMO to make this game fun. With interactive environments, enough fighting/shooting (but not too much), fluid movement (like Uncharted), challenging obstacles/puzzles, etc. this game should do well, but that is something Lucasarts should have the talent/vision to accomplish I would hope.

The Lego Star Wars games, to me, were fun for about 10 minutes until I began to miss Jedi Academy and actually fun lightsaber battles.
As for my little cousins, these games are perfect for them to be able to enjoy the movie and the game.
