Metal Gear Solid bundles say 'welcome' in Japan

For those native to America, a trip to Japan can be quite a shock. Not only is everything clean ... everything is polite. Perhaps its the Japanese insistence to courtesy that dubbed this Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle the "Welcome Box." This package will embrace you with a 40GB system (colors of choice include: Clear Black, Ceramic White and Satin Silver), rumble-ready DualShock 3 and copy of MGS4. It will be available in Japan on June 12 for ¥49,800 (~$470). The limited edition "Hagane" Grey MGS4 bundle retails for ¥51,800, by comparison.

The new 80 gb playstation 3 will be released June 12, 2008 bundled with Metal Gear Solid 4 and will retail for $499.00. Just check out the sonystyle website. Not sure what the difference is between this new model and the old 80 Gb playstation 3 that was discontinued in January of this year.

It's polite as long as you are not on the Chiba line heading home at 5:30pm during rush hour.

People will literally forearm smash you out of the way with a curt "SUMIMASEN!" as they charge for the doors.

God I miss Japan.

The box implies that you get two Dual Shock controllers, any clarification on that?

you get "system and controler" + "controller" + "MGS4"

I'd love to have the silver one. The glossy black blends into my shelf so much that all you notice of the PS3 is a red LED.

HMM... I just hear nothing no one plan made US sony ps3 mgs4 yet? My Boss job in GameStop.... so said Now june 12 ps3 80gb but IDK... They hear about ps3 80gb made yet?
