After Revolution X I made a solemn oath never to witness the combination of Aerosmith and videogames ever again, and I'm going to stick with that.
kevin @ May 2nd 2008 1:59PM
this looks just as bad as guitar hero 3 graphic wise, rockband FTW!
mhardaway @ May 2nd 2008 4:45PM
man, this game is gonna fail so bad.
jpneiswi @ May 2nd 2008 2:10PM
After Rock Band, I don't really care about anything GH...although hearing that they're going to have more Muse as DLC for GHIII makes me hope Rock Band gets it sometime...Aerosmith is cool and all, but I like the variety of the other games too much to want an exclusive band

They lost their fan base when they held out against people desire for the guitars to work interchangably with Rock Band. If I have an alternative, I am certainly not going with the brand that slighted me. There is nothing GH could do content wise that will make up for their greed at the expense of the fans.

Lost their fanbase - are you kidding? Have you even seen the sales for Guitar Hero 3? They havent lost ANYTHING. Dont make up facts and create declining sales numbers because you dont like that GH3 guitars wont work with your copy of Rockband
Back to this game - it will fail. And isnt the next game Def Leppard? These two games are whats going to drive people to Rockband if Rockband can offer a GOOD setlist. Nobody wants a game thats fully based on one band and the present setlist for this game is a joke. Can you possibly tell me anyone under 35 who will be really excited for this game? Hopefully this game tanks and they drop this whole one band nonsense
Slayer15 @ May 2nd 2008 4:54PM
why call it guitar hero: aerosmith, if it has other bands. it should be called guitar hero: aerosmith and friends. oh well, this game is going to fail no matter what its name is.
Brian @ May 2nd 2008 8:57PM
Who is the douchebag programmer that decided using on using the horns on every video clip? GHIII had the characters throwing up the horns on every freaking video clip as well. Aerosmith is not a metal band at all WTF? And there were hardly any metal bands on GHIII. Douchebag!
Brakius @ May 2nd 2008 6:17PM
Props for the Dream Police, but not expecting much from this one.
ka-ge @ May 2nd 2008 6:43PM
I think this is a sort of expansion, like Rock the 80s. I personally think that this won't be any better than GH3 with different songs. Not that GH3 is bad. Still waiting for Rock Band over here in Europe for PS3.
Seminole @ May 2nd 2008 8:55PM
The problem is that its a $100 "expansion".
