Siren Blood Curse brings episodic fear this Summer
SCEE has announced, via their PlayStation Day asset disc, that Siren Blood Curse will be made available this Summer in Europe. Blood Curse will be an episodic, downloadable experience via the PlayStation Network and promises to be "the most terrifying game in the Siren series to date." While the twelve episode series begins this Summer, there's no word on how often new episodes will be made available.
The story takes place "in the Japanese village of Hanuda, where a TV crew from America arrive to research the legend of the 'Vanished Village' where human sacrifice is said to have taken place thirty years ago." Players will be able to utilise the "unique Sight-Jack system to view events from the angle of your undead pursuers." That all sounds great, but why wasn't this announced during the keynote speech? Episodic gaming via the PSN is definitely something we would like to see more of and would have made Killzone 2's delay just that little bit less hard to take.

Yes.
There was no way it was going to live up to the hype.

I enjoyed it but it was nothing special to me. I guess when you actually get the full version it'll be fun to join the rebels and use the Nectar against the other guys. Graphics were pretty good too. Nothing ground breaking, at least in the demo. I imagine the multiplayer will be fun, and the vehicle sections.

If it is treated the same as Warhawk and GTP downloads I'll have to pass, which is a shame.
I hope SONY can find some way of letting mulitple people on the same machine play and keep game saves.

For fuck sakes Jem.
Killzone 2 wasn't delayed. Sony put out an estimate/rumoured released date such as Sep'08... although many recall the developers of K2 coming out and announcing that as total rubbish & claiming that a release date is official once it comes from THEM and no one else.
They mentioned the '08 release was a bunch of nothing waaaay before this Playstation Day. This Feb'09 IS THE OFFICIAL release date, and the only confirmed one as well.
Get your facts right. So sick of people getting that wrong.

i dont like this idea, 12 episodes (from what ive heard) is not enough for a Forbidden Siren game, not to mention that some people can't pay PSN cos they dont have a credit card :[ That aside is this some sort of remake or are events sorta repeating themselves?
