Make your PSP glow in the dark

This product you see here is called the XCM Magic Night Glow faceplate. It latches onto the front side of slim model PSPs only and comes in pearl, yellow, blue (pictured), green, pink, and red. Each faceplate glows a different color than its original scheme. For example: the blue one pictured above will glow greenish (also pictured). So far there's no price set yet, but you can find a place to pre-order it over at XCM's website.
Now, just think of all the practical uses your PSP will now have; it's not only a game machine and a music player, but also a nightlight and a rave party glow toy! Sweet.

I'm not interested in the glowing faceplates, but the site does have some damn good mods available. I might pick up the smoke faceplate for the PSP and the black casing for the Wii.

I wonder if it disrupts attention when playing in the dark... I love being at my room at late hours with lights off playing my PSP :)

That's what I was thinking, too. Now that the weather is getting warm, I've been sitting out on the balcony in the dark playing Crisis Core. I think the glowing would detract from the gaming experience.

You guys said it was only for slim models, but if you look closely, the pictures are of the old psps (charging pins on bottom under charging jack, speakers on the bottom, ir port on top, etc)

I could be completely wrong here.... but I thought faceplates were the same size for either model?
