Fallout 3 composer named, soundtrack samples available

Fallout 3 executive producer Todd Howard had this to say about Zur's original music for the game: "He's created a score that has epic sweep; from the lonely ambience of the wasteland to dramatic fights for survival." True enough, Zur is well-known for that sort of sound. Don't believe it? Then hit up Fallout 3's official website to listen to three songs from the soundtrack. Also, you can hear some of Zur's older work at his official website.

Ha! That guy was my choir director in elementary school (4,5,6 grades)! That's really funny! (I went to private Jewish school in LA).

I loved the music he created in Crysis.
I am still worried of how this game will turn out, I really loved the first two Fallout games when I played them back in 98/99.
I know many other die-hard Fallout fans are uphappy of this sequel, shame it couldn't be designed by the original developers.

As a big fan of Fallout series, I am unhappy with this one. I believe those that are "happy" with it and say it'll be GOTY (like what they said of Bioshock) are most likely people that never played the original Fallouts or System Shock titles.

leiwei-
I was wondering, how are you already dissatisfied with this game? I played the crap out of System Shock, System Shock 2, Fallout, and Fallout 2 back in my early high school years of the late 90s (until Diablo 2 consumed me... I miss all that free time) - and I was pretty satisfied with Bioshock. I mean, it wasn't GOTY and it wasn't as great of an experience as I had with SysShock1/2 (especially 2) back in the day, but it was a quality gaming experience and I was "happy" with it.
More on topic, I really see no reason to not expect pretty great things from Fallout 3. I like the Elder Scrolls games (especially Oblivion) - even if they aren't as good as Fallout (some of my favorite games of all time). What do you think the game will lack that the others had? The dark humor? The open ethics? A plethora of skills and abilities?
Just wondering.

Wow... a Bethesda RPG without Jeremy Soule? I'm surprised... but the tracks do have a great sound and mood to them.
