Watch elephants being saved in Elefunk trailer
When we first saw Elefunk, we didn't know what exactly to make of it. However, seeing it in action in this new trailer has us pretty excited for this elephant-themed puzzle game. In it, you must build bridges in order to help move elephants from one place to another. It's like all the fun of high school physics, without any of the bad acne and body odor! With elephants!
Elefunk should be out on the PSN some time this month.

Looks basically like Pontifex, but with elephants instead of trains or whatever. If it is, it's going to be addictive.

and its predecessor - bridge builder

ditto, i played bridge builder all of the time, last level in the demo was a bit frustrating though...

We get this and the Wii folks are getting that "World of Goop" or something like that, another bridge building game. Neat that this style of game is getting some traction.

Whatever it looks like to you, it looks like crack-cocaine to me. It looks rather attractively addictive. I'll definitely buy it or at least check out a demo if there is one.

I'm really looking forward to this. It's got local co-op right? PJM is fantastic to play with a buddy, and I'm hoping this one isn't any different.

.......Did I just watch that?
Saying that, I'm sure this will be addictive.

The way the bridges move and connect reminded me of this:

Been playing Elefunk for a while. It really needs a bit more polish. Big problem... there are only 2 zoom levels: close, and really close. It makes it very difficult to play. You should be able to zoom manually to any level you want. When you scroll through the "pieces" in your toolbox, the pieces that have "0" quantity are highlighted. This makes no sense. Why would you need to select a piece that you can't place? It just wastes time. Those pieces should be grayed out like in Lemmings. Also it seems my high scores aren't showing up on the High Scores page. Aside from all the glitches, it's still a fun game. Overall I'd give Elefunk a B-.
