Snake turns young in new energy drink ad
What a sell out, Snake! He stars in this hilarious (and surreal) new ad for a Japanese energy drink. Not only does it revitalize his spirit, but it brings back the color to his hair and makes him young again. Wow! Now we wonder if this will be an unlockable in the game ...

Is it just me or does his hair colour come back before he even touches the bottle, let alone drinks any of it?
stargateheaven @ May 13th 2008 10:26AM
Just the thought of the drink changed his face..
Daniel @ May 13th 2008 9:31AM
I'd drink it. If Snake says it's good, it must be good dammit!

Japanese commercials are so freakin' bizarre. But I guess considering they have those used panties that they sell in vending machines, this is as normal as it gets.
Afro_Dude @ May 13th 2008 9:42AM
Lol wtf?

Maybe this could be a spoiler of sorts, the area looks a little like the jungle area of Snake Eater? (Bolshaya Past Crevice where you dual with Ocelot, before diving into the crevice when the Pains hornets arrive).

Why do they keep teasing us with the Young Snakes?
evilfoxhound @ May 13th 2008 9:53AM
Why did I have to verify my age to watch this? LOL

Because you didn't notice the underaged Japanese girls being fondled in the background.

Oh and Regain is actually pretty nice stuff (lot nicer than red bull etc). You can buy it in the UK from JapanCentre :-)

Hello Pot, meet Kettle!

"Snake. Daijoubu" means "Snake ... are you ok?"
As if anyone cares ...

I do.
Brodie, I care about you too.
stargateheaven @ May 13th 2008 10:27AM
Typical ad, could see it on Japan TV easily.
Daniel @ May 13th 2008 10:36AM
Someone PLEASE edit in a pack of Mentos (the freshmaker) instead of Regain.
koehler83 @ May 13th 2008 10:44AM
Why did I have to verify my age to watch a TV commercial? A TV commericial without the slightest bit of questionable content at that?
Andrew Yoon @ May 13th 2008 10:55AM
The ESRB requires an age gate for any content that involves an M-rated game.

Last night, I saw a commercial about a unibrowed caveman who urgently needs car insurance; some Michael Jackson loving dancing lizards that have a taste for flavored water; and an old couple who had taken some love pills, but were inconveniently interrupted by a leaking kitchen faucet - that's why Cialis works for 36 hours.
We live in a glass house, my friend...

Is that the real Engine of the game ?
looks spectacular...
