Here's a better look at MGS4's Bluetooth headset
The last time we saw this stylish Metal Gear Solid 4 headset we were only treated to a drawing of what the product would look like. It wasn't the actual thing. The picture above, however, is a shot of the real piece of equipment. Isn't it beautiful? Don't you just want one? We know we do.
The headset is a Bluetooth 2.0 device and will work with both the PS3 and mobile phones. The headset is priced at $59.99 in North America and should be available alongside the launch of MGS4 on June 12. If you want to see more pics of the headset and its carrying case, head on over here.

kiros @ May 15th 2008 4:54PM
or other things you may want to look through...

That just looks cool. Even though I'm a huge MGS fan, I'd totally take that logo off.
Reymo @ May 15th 2008 1:53PM
@meadows
Being bundled with MGS would eliminate that problem.
ajiezer @ May 15th 2008 1:53PM
60 bucks! No way, it's nice but I already have 2 and one of them is the Jabra that came with Warhawk, in the end I do not use them, I rather use the eye, much more comfortable.
never$$hort @ May 15th 2008 2:47PM
+1... The Eye works the best for all voice chatting needs, my Jabra collects dust.

I tried using my BT headset with my phone, but it's uncomfortable, and I gotta recharge every hour. So I switched to the EyeToy, hanging the base off my shirt pocket. Then I switched to PSEye. They worked fine, but the cables were kinda short. After buying Rock Band I started using that mic instead, mounted on a boom mic stand.
They all worked good and sound very clear, but I miss having the voice and game sounds separated because it can be hard to hear people sometimes. So I snagged a little $5 adapter off the internet which converts old-school 1/8" headsets (of which I have several lying around) to USB. Best $5 I ever spent. Now I have a choice of a huge variety of headsets made for phones, cellphones, PC gaming, etc. that work great.

"BT headset with my phone"
I meant to say "...that CAME with my phone" (bought Warhawk off PSN)
ajiezer @ May 15th 2008 6:02PM
@ never$$hort: Amen to that
@ Lars: What you did in the end was actually one of the things I wanted to do before, but the eye suits me just fine, when I put a speaker to near of my ear I end up with earache.
Reymo @ May 15th 2008 1:54PM
i hope its bundled :D
Meadows14 @ May 15th 2008 2:00PM
The headset looks a little uncomforatble for me. As a general rule for headsets, I find the stupider looking you are wearing it, the more comfortable it is!
kevin @ May 15th 2008 2:00PM
it its 60 WITH THE GAME yes if so no because i already have one anyways and it works fine
uh-oh polio @ May 15th 2008 2:14PM
ill just keep using my rockband mic for talking to people thanks for the offer tho:)
Keane Maloney @ May 15th 2008 3:07PM
i want one!!!
T H @ May 15th 2008 3:08PM
Err.. sematics I guess, but wouldn't that be an "earpiece", not a "headset"?
Lars @ May 15th 2008 5:48PM
Though technically it does attach to your ear and not your head, "earpiece" is generally used to refer to a device that allows you to listen only.
reson8er @ May 15th 2008 3:55PM
Its cool looking and all, but there is no way I'd wear that in public. Passing on this one.
ck @ May 15th 2008 4:05PM
"Stylish"? Um, OK...
Eggy @ May 15th 2008 5:06PM
When you get elsuive stuff liek this you alwats pay a preium for it. That is how it works. I'm sure the headset would be 20 dollars cheaper without the MGS logo.
Eggy @ May 15th 2008 5:07PM
Ok I'll try again.
When you want exclusive stuff like this you always pay a premium for it. That is how it works. I'm sure the headset would be 20 dollars cheaper without the MGS logo.
spyker @ May 15th 2008 5:25PM
Looks really sweet. I might pick one up.
ajiezer @ May 15th 2008 6:01PM
