Silent Hill Homecoming returns with new footage

Silent Hill Homecoming is the series' first entry into the new generation. From the new footage released from Konami's Gamers Day, we say it looks remarkably similar to previous incarnations. It's going to be gruesome, obviously -- too bad we couldn't hear the haunting score Silent Hill is so well known for in this video.

The original Silent Hill team has long since disbanded, if this game turns out good, I'll really be surprised.

Agree. I will too change my religion to siren for the same reason this isn´t silent hill at all without the original team. Dont hate me but the way i see this game (and origins) its just a fanfic nothing new to the serie... same dogs, same nurses, same everything. Why dont they trie to make what silent hill 4 was doing.. taking out silent hill to the other town. the graphics dont looks next gen... even silent hill 3 have the same kind of datail... you can easily count the objects on screen they dont blend in the background :P... the movement of the character isnt natural looks dumb. I can see that he tries to hit the dog with the same attack.... if this looks awful on 360...i dont want to see it on ps3... i know devs for this game are lazy to make a good ps3 version.

Ugh, this isn't doing anything to convince me that this western team haven't COMPLETELY missed the point when it comes to Silent Hill.

Blech. Might prove us wrong though, god i hope so.

Hmm i think that Resident Evil 4 for the PS2 has better graphics than that. Man i wish they would make RE5 a PS3 exclusive since graphics are an important element in a game like that. And Silent hill used to be good but from what this video shows they might as well release it for the 360 and PS2 ( Yes PS2 and not PS3) im sorry but those graphics are an insult to the PS3

well if you're going by that then why don't they just release RE5 on the PC so they won't be limited by the ps3 graphics? don't be stupid..they need to make money! besides...you can't really tell how the graphics look from that video which isn't so great in terms of quality
