See Marshall Lee from the upcoming Tekken movie
Yeah. They're making a Tekken movie. The popular PlayStation fighting game gets the silver screen treatment, just like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat before it. Love them or hate them, but video game movies are here to stay.
Cung Le plays "Marshall Law" from the franchise, and he can be seen in costume in this newly released pic (available on his MySpace page). Looks like he's going to need to grow a mustache if he wants to complete the role. But hey, at least the pants look pretty spot on.

if only this movie was going to be good... how come a major studio can't get behind one of these properties?

Where's the Iconic Handlebar Mustache?
ClarkyCat @ May 21st 2008 6:49PM
I don't see silver hair anywhere so you might wanna fix that headline ;)
As said, just a moustache would get him almost spot on. A bit more.. weathering too. Law isn't that young!

I don't see bad movies as a general rule. There Will Be Blood -this is not.

I didn't know Cung Le was an actor too! This guy is a sick fighter - his fight with Frank Shamrock was fight of the year so far, IMHO. Awesome fight.

I agree, that fight was awesome. And yea, since when has he entered the film industry? =P I'm still thinking that all video game movies should be in CG! =)

SmokeN @ May 22nd 2008 2:14AM
maybe you should ask Uwe Boll
I'm sure he can give you some answers :]

I hope the movie is more entertaining than his fights. He's pretty good but also pretty cheesy. I always see him pitted against guys with little experience and he always uses the same moves on them over and over and over again.
I don't even bother watching his fights any more. Just boring.

Video game-based movies wouldn't be so bad if a decent director and producer could do it right. They always end up as low-budget, poorly composed, hero vs. villain brawls with little to no believable acting and horrendous special effects. Please don't let the tekken movie end up with the same fate; after all, the d.o.a. movie made my eyes bleed.
