American PC Store update for May 22nd

Do you like The Con? Have you heard of it? You will have done after reading this post, there's just no escaping it. Apart from the two Hot Shots demos and the super creepy Siren trailer, it's all about The Con. As well as the game itself, there are several videos available and even a wallpaper. Almost makes you want to buy it, doesn't it? Almost. Here's the full release list:Playable content

While I appreciate being able to download UMD titles for the PSP, I am more interested in stuff like the PS1 games and original releases like Echochrome. I'd be all for downloading games like The Con if they were ...good. Is it a decent game? If I was going to spend 20 bucks on a fighting game for PSP, I'd probably get Tekken: DR. Certainly there must be some hard-to-find gems out there that would be perfect for this service.

cool, I look forward to the HSG:OT2 demo... I just downloaded the original from the PC store, and am enjoying myself, so looking to see what the second iteration brings to the console.

wasnt the con a horrible game. i guess i could just buy it used for 4 bucks at amazon.

Yeah I'd definitely say we need more PS1 games instead of this stuff.
I'm very sad, the price point on the PS1 games is so good, but the availability is so terrible. Come on Sony, don't make me feel bad about my legit firmware. R-Types was a nice touch, though.

$20 bucks for "The Con" too much, why is sony trying to con us out of 20bucks for a game u can get best buy for less $9.99 or 4.99 at gamestop.

lol krap,krap,krap,week after week after week. yea sony are you trying to con us(not you guys are the idiots). hehe nice one jaun. but sony you guys have to be on drugs the krap you keep feeding us here. first 200 bucks for a gps for the psp,not. 2yrs waiting and maybe a year to two more. then the krap you put on the store,come on. why oh why. the eu and japan stores have way better stuff. why can't sony put that on the us store? sony you are so screwed up,lol.

I used entropay to buy from the US store because the EU store had f**k all in comparison.

I actually really like The Con and still play it till this day. It's really hard to lose a fight without making it look like you're throwing the fight. You can throw it, win outright, lose in the beginning, have your partner bet on you when the odds go up, then come back and win, etc, etc.. There's so many different angles you can come at a fight with, it basically turns fighters into a thinking mans game.
Although, $20 is too much seeing how you can get it cheaper else where.

It's really sad to see how awful the PSN store has been of late. I just keep thinking of the incredible selection of PSOne titles that could, and should, be put up for PSP download. That and the fact that demos seem so few and far between, I sometimes feel as if there's just this one guy doing the whole thing. :(

The Con is actually a decent game IMO ... it was a pretty original concept for a fighting game :) Still , the lack of PSone games hurt the PSstore a lot IMO :?

Umm sitting on my 4 gb memory card being played on my CFW slim psp? If I were you guys do as I did and tell sony to shove it, if they aren't gonna release descent stuff on the psn store, just resort to using the psone emu yourself with cfw and playing and ps1 game you choose. Should of been that way in the beginning they should of released some program that we could rip our legal copies of psone games to play on our psp. But no leave it to homebrew dev's like dax to do all of sony's work for them. Hell they could of charged for the program or charged for each copy made for all I care. Sony never see's money when its staring them right in the face.

uhh... yay? honestly, i want some good demos here. GoW and patapon and wipeout pulse were great demos. Where are the other good ones? Btw, is there a way to get a gift card for PSN store on the pc?
