Metal Gear Solid 4 to have NYC launch party, with Hideo Kojima

Thats why i love living in NY we get the best of everything. and the best part of it all is that i live only 20 minutes away from virgin. I'll be skipping school and work just to wait online all day long as im sure that the line will be ridiculously long even longer than the line i was waiting on when Halo 3 came out at the Best Buy on 5th avenue. I'll be buying another copy even though i already have a Limited Edition copy waiting for me at gamestop at the Manhattan mall its a shame i cant have that so that Hideo Kojima could autograph it

I'm a pretty big fan of all things Metal Gear Solid but I already have a Limited Edition on reserve at Gamestop. I see no point in buying 2 copies of the same game just to have it autographed. I mean, unless you're planning to sell it on eBay down the line or something.

I live in NYC but I'd rather just go pick up my copy of the game, get my ass home and play while everyone at Virgin is waiting on line.

I think that may be one of those things that's really cool in theory, but then you get there and realize how pointless it is. It would suck to be having a nerdgasm all over him, gushing about how much he rocks.....and having to wait for a translator. That line would take forever.

What's the big deal here? Why the excitement? I was going to wait at Circuit City that night right next door until the AM so I can get the bundle. Do you think 1) this will be necessary and 2) will all the people next door at Virgin screw up my plans tom get the bundle from CC? Thanks,
