All the updates up to now seem to be focusing on breasts.

I agree...but im a breast lover, so thats good with me. Gameplay? what?
Paulmichael @ May 23rd 2008 8:19PM
In-game breast physics are the greatest kind of physics there is.

Personally I think this will pale in comparison to Burst Limit an Tekken 6.

The video won't play.

... I've been a fan of the Soul Calibur series ... however, that being said, the stages previewed here are entirely bland.
Furthermore, I never got around to playing SC3, but I'm hoping the inclusion of English voice-acting doesn't mean we won't have the option of the original Japanese.
If only DOA would go multi-plat ...

Why didn't they let the gay Edward Scissorhands do any moves?
Soetfisk @ May 23rd 2008 6:30PM

Why is there no footage of Jar Jar?

so, aside from the girl with the armored breasts and the graphical update, what's new about this game?
Also, why the hell does every fabric of Raphael's clothing have to have rim lighting? It is NOT necessary for everything to be glowing all the time.

agreed.

"so, aside from the girl with the armored breasts and the graphical update, what's new about this game?"
Online play, lots of new characters (including guest characters from obscure anime and star wars) and a continuation of the story.
Considering how poorly SC3 runs on the PS3's without BC and it doesn't run at all on the 40gig machines, a hi-def version with not so many updates and online mode is good enough frankly.

It really does not look that great, the models are fairly nice. The backgrounds are a little drab. This is more to do with design than the engine I'd imagine.
I have always enjoyed the series and it has provided vast amounts of longevity and replay value in the past. Namco is slowly mastering how to bring the vs fighter into the home environment. Online play if used imaginatively will be a huge bonus.

Ah another boring beat em up.
