patrolpatrol @ May 25th 2008 11:06PM
One of the more epic games ive ever played.
OAKside @ May 25th 2008 11:44PM
I've definitely got to run through MGS2 (maybe 3) again in the next few weeks in preparation for GOTP. Can't wait!
ryan @ May 26th 2008 12:43AM
MGS and Cloverfield owe Snake Pliskin a thank you. :D
Popfrogs @ May 26th 2008 12:46PM
I think having Snake named "Iriquois Pliskin" in MGS2 was thanks enough.
BTW I don't ever remember Snake explaining Vamp to Raiden, saying he (Vamp) is bisexual and all that. On my latest play through, he started talking about this in a codec call. I was like...wtf I would have remembered this.
Dahk @ May 26th 2008 2:32AM

Wow me and my buddies were just playing a modified version of ghost in the graveyard called snake in backyard. June 12th can't come sooner...
(Yeah were losers...)
Popfrogs @ May 28th 2008 10:23AM
Well at least you guys go outside, better than 90% of the population on the couch.
sinister_soul @ May 26th 2008 7:01PM
snake suck me off lol
Sniper Wolf @ May 26th 2008 11:17AM
I picked up the Essential Collection and am playing through for the first time. Almost done MGS3. Wow this series rocks!
Popfrogs @ May 26th 2008 12:49PM
Now go back through MGS2 and collect all the dog tags.
My favorite trick for doing this is getting in a guard's path using the box, then when he comes up, patiently wait for him to kick the box. Next he'll peek inside. When he puts up his gun and starts to lift up the box, hit R2 quick then R1 plus Square. Instant hold-up, works every single time. Make sure you equip the M9 first though.

I can't get MGS3 from the Essential collection to work on my 80GB PS3. It keeps looping the main menu...
Jarrett Pettigrew @ May 27th 2008 3:31PM
I'm in the same boat as you, Sniper Wolf! I just finished 2 over the weekend and now onto 3. Speaking of, I'm playing on an 80 gig PS3 - I hope your issues aren't widespread Kaylin Bradley. =o\

Man, I remember being so phsyked about MGS2, and I never got to play it! Damn the European PS3 not having PS2 support!
Guess I gotta go buy a second hand PS2, and get hold of a copy of MSG2 and 3.
snake @ May 26th 2008 2:35PM
after seeing this i unsuccesfully tried my hand at playing through the tanker in extreme difficulty, no radar, and game over if spotted without dying or be spotted :(
sicklesdawg @ May 26th 2008 4:04PM
EPIC!
KFBradley @ May 26th 2008 8:55PM
You are very welcome.

MGS3 is the best in the series.
Discuss.
