You might want to check that out if you're looking for some games over the summer and are on a tight budget. After the break, check out the full listing of discounted PS3 titles or head on over to PSP Fanboy for the PSP listing. "Condemned 2" is intriguing, no?
toefer @ May 29th 2008 5:35PM
I'm surprised any of those are considered sale prices.

viking was fun but short, only worth a rental i thought but shoot that's a cheap price.
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread) @ May 30th 2008 1:50AM
that was my question, how was Vikings. i liked the look of it from the trailers but i figured it probably wouldnt be super stellar. i probably still wont buy it, just give it a rent or something if i can find it.
JAH75157 @ May 30th 2008 2:14AM
it's a rental for sure, in two days i was already to the second island (there's three) and i wasn't really playing it hardcore. it's a button masher, but there are some cool parts where you can be stealthy and sneak far into fortresses with minimal fighting (if you rushed in the front you'd die quick) the game was rather repetative, but i did find it nice that when you cut people in half you could see intestines. and if you cut off their heads you'd see the vertebrae sticking out the severed neck.

I'm enjoying Viking too--only get to play an hour or so here and there, so it's lasting long enough for me. Repetitive, and you pretty much have to do every quest in order to get your army big enough, but good fun chopping.

Why r all these bad games?
why dont they sell the good ones on sale
what about accessories
Ed @ May 29th 2008 6:48PM
Because they need to clear out their stock, and most of these would only get bought by uninformed moms during the christmas season.
catmanmatt @ May 30th 2008 12:04PM
r u kidding me?1 condemned is an awesome game, same with virtua fighter.
Kattleox @ May 29th 2008 7:27PM
Virtua Fighter was good. I see no reason not to get that for $20. (Oh, yeah. I'll be busy with some other game about bipedal nuclear tanks.)

Condemned 2 is pretty sweet. The first couple levels are so so but the last 2/3's the game really finds itself. The level in the lodge house is sweet.
CarpeD1em500 @ May 29th 2008 10:41PM
I was really hoping RnC FToD would be on here...damn...
Does anyone have an idea of the best (read: cheapest) way to get my hands on that title?
Thanks...
ajiezer @ May 29th 2008 11:16PM
Ask it as a gift or buy it used :)
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread) @ May 30th 2008 1:41AM
maybe try eBay. i usually have a lot of luck finding cheap games on there. shop victoriously.
i personally think that game was worth every penny of $60, ive beaten it like 15 times (no exaggeration) but then im a Ratchet & Clank fan. whatever you pay for it, make sure you dont miss that one. great game.
CarpeD1em500 @ May 30th 2008 9:35AM
Yeah I don't wanna miss it . I played the demo and loved it...
Alrighty I'll try those suggestions. If not, I can always just wait until after my MGS4 fix and maybe it'll drop in price by then. Who knows.
Thanks! :)

I was hoping LAIR would be one of the titles...I've been wanting to pick that one up for some time now. Eh, I may still grab Timeshift for $30.
Stellarpimp @ May 30th 2008 7:54AM
Man you weren't the only one. I can't even buy that used for $30 from Gamestop
Bad Mojo @ May 30th 2008 10:17AM
No doubt- I was lucky enough to snag a new copy of Lair at Target for $30.
Haven't had a chance to crack it open yet, but I couldn't resist the intrigue of the title.
So follow Hai2u's advice and check Target every now and again. Sometimes they have a winner or two in there. I think I even saw The Club marked to $30 in the display cases.
hai2u @ May 30th 2008 12:48AM
If you guys really want good deals you should go to Target about once a week around Sunday or Monday. They usually have titles (at least at the Target by my house) for $30~ on clearance. So far I've picked up The Orange Box, The Club, Lair and Unreal Tournament 3 for $30 a piece for no reason other than they needed shelf space. Check it out
Mike @ May 30th 2008 1:28AM
what a bad selection...
HaloEleven @ May 30th 2008 12:30PM
That's it? Condemned 2 is good.
