Did you know that your PS3 is region free? We should certainly hope so; we've only been saying it every Sunday for the last 54 weeks or so. Feel free to import anything on the above list. Not that any of you have got the time to play any of them while you're working your way through Metal Gear Solids 1 to 3 in preparation for the 12th, right? Release dates are constantly subject to change so don't blame us if these are wrong. Please.

What? I thought GRID was an AWESOME demo lol. Frickin' thing is so crazy. Nice contrast from my 10 hour stints of GT5P at least lol.

GRID is getting great reviews. I had a ton of fun with the demo! If Bourne gets some good reviews I might pick up 2 games this week. :)

I don't really do the whole ridge racer styled racing, a car doesn't turn hairpins at 135 is all i'm saying :D

Just like Burnout Paradise, GRID is not about realism, it is about the fun of arcade style racing. Honestly, I havent had as much fun with any game as I have had with Burnout Paradise. It is certainly one of the best games of this generation.
Its a good time to be a gamer, MGS4 and other great games are right around the corner. Anyone know when WipEout HD is hitting the PSN?

I downloaded the dragonball Z demo and was very impressed.
Probably pick it up down the line but seeing how money is tight i'm just saving to buy MGS4 soon *mental countdown ticks away*

The ps3 is region free! However, patches and DLC arent. I stopped importing after the non-global patching and DLC released for CoD4.
GRiD actually caught my interest. The smaller cars were not fun at all, but the powerful cars are really fun. I was waiting for a decent arcade racer, not a huge fan of all of the simulators that are coming out. Bring on GRiD! Bring on WipeoutHD!!

Exactly. First, I dont get why these guys feel the need to push the 'region free' bs every week, its like they get paid for saying that. Second, your right on the money about the patches and DLC, listen to these guys and you might find yourself screwed out of some DLC or patches you want/need.

...just create a foreign account. Also, I have no problems with patching Rock Band on a UK account. I buy the DLC from the US one, though.

Burst Limit didn't impress me from the demo - too similar to past DBZ fighting games. Nothing for me this week.

Grid is kind of a weird game. You can't just dive into it after playing GT5P. It took me like 5 races, but you really do get into it after you get over the learning curve. The Mustang street course was a blast once you get the hang of it.

Too bad Bourne is coming out before MGS4! I might pick that one in the summer.
I don't think GRiD is a good game. It's neither a driving simulator nor an arcade racer; it's something in between, and that means it doesn't inherit any kind of merit from either kind.
