There are many ways to die on the battlefield and these vids from Battlefield: Bad Company remind us just how many different ways you can kill and be killed. War is truly brutal. War has changed. To keep you alive, perhaps it might be a good idea to bring in some good company; guys you can trust. Say, like Sgt. Redford, Sweetwater, and Haggard -- the gents of Bad Company (yes, the irony is totally intentional) who will be assisting your character through the game's single-player mode.
Producer Patrick Bach details these three characters in the first clip after the break, and talks more about how they were made. There are also another three gameplay vids after the break, so check those out as well. Battlefield: Bad Company should be out later this month on June 23.
I've had a great time with the demo so far. I've already put in over 5 hours (into a demo.. That's gotta be my record for a demo). I'll be picking it up.
I have a feeling that there will be betrayal in the single-player storyline, though. Just a feeling, maybe.
I've always liked the Battlefield series but I think they lost it with BF 2142 or whatever the future one was. BF:V and BF2 were both tons of fun with tight squad-based play. The hackers on the PC ruined it and Dice/EA were too slow to patch it so I quit playing.
Since this is coming to PS3 soon, I'll probably buy it for that. No cheaters = good times.
It looks interesting, but I can't help but think about the fact that it's another FPS in the sea of FPS titles with no slow down in releasing FPS games in sight.
I'll see what the demo does for me. These days I'm looking forward to games that give me more than the traditional "hands and weapon" interface.
There really are entirely too many FPS games out now. I just wish that it could be like the PS1 days when there were entirely too many fighting games. Thats more my speed.

For PC, yes.

For PS3, and 360, YES. But only for people who pre-ordered (or people who downloaded via proxy).
We got access last week. I've played it quite a bit.

it appears to be a really fun game.
The FPS to replace COD4 for a while. (Until resistance2 comes).

The videos give a nice Battlefield feel,
I just wish they had conquest mode...

They're adding it after release via a patch due to demand. It says it right in the demo, scrolling across the screen.

IMHO it looks like a cross between COD4 and OFP:CWC which is a good thing

When will the demo be available for everyone to download and not just the people who ponied up to EA's greed?

Tomorrow.
