Fox News does a Metal Gear Solid retrospective

GameTrailers isn't the only place where you can find a Metal Gear retrospective to get you pumped up for Metal Gear Solid 4. You can watch another one of those compilations of nostalgic memories at Fox News. Yes, that's right, Fox News. It looks like the hype surrounding the final tale of Solid Snake is slithering into mainstream press coverage; albeit, Fox News' take on the series is rather dry and flavorless compared to GameTrailers. All in all, it's still good to see that gaming is grabbing the attention of a major news network ... and more importantly, in a good way.

Its funny how Snake was out of retirement for the Shadow Moses mission when he looks so young compared to his current state lol.

Wow, that was actually....good. That might be the first thing I've liked off Fox News...ever. I'm guessing that was on the website for Fox News. No way they put something this good on their network.

Kudos Fox News, job well-done. It may be the only time I ever say that.

Every bit of MGS4 footage in this retrospective has been seen multiple times in previous trailers for the past two years.

I wish i would have read your comment before watching. Damn.... If you want to be a MGS4 virgin like i was trying to be, do not watch this retrospective. They talk about some character information that you might not have known otherwise.

snake is 42-43 in mgs4, shadow moses was 9 years ago from then, so 31-32.

Wow... that's some awesome stuff.

My cousin wasn't a MGS fan AT ALL. He didn't care about it. Never understood the storyline. Couldn't be bothered... but this video made it all that more clear for him.

And now he's fucking pumped.

I wouldn't blame him.

So am I!!!
